B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6) Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7) Make sure that the LIGHT SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6) Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7) Make sure that the LIGHT SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.
Subtask 49-93-16-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Oil Level Switch
(1) Apply a thin layer of Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) to the new AIPC 49-93-09-01-030 PACKING (3).
(2) Install the new packing (3) on the switch (2).
(3) Put the switch (2) into the filling port (5) and push it down.
(4) Rotate the switch to locate the lug under the screw (4).
(5) Tighten the screw (4).
(6) TORQUE the screw (4) to between 0.616 and 0.504 m.daN (54.51 and 44.60 lbf.in )

(7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the switch (2).

CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE APU AIR INTAKE IS FULLY CLOSED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE SHUTDOWN OF THE APU WAS CORRECT. IF THE APU AIR INTAKE IS NOT FULLY CLOSED, OPERATE THE APU AT NO-LOAD FOR 5 MINUTES THEN DO A NORMAL SHUTDOWN.
B. Inspection Check NOTE: Oil level inspection and servicing should be checked not less than 15 minutes after the last shutdown. Do not re-service before APU is operated again.
(1) Do a visual check of the oil quantity. Add oil if the oil level is on or less than ADD mark on the sight glass (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-007). C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Do a check of the oil level switch by checking the Data/oil on the MCDU.
Subtask 49-93-16-710-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL E. Start and Operate the APU to do an Oil leak check.
(1) Start and operate the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(2) Allow the APU to run for 5 minutes.
(3) Shutdown the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(4) Do a leak check by a visual inspection of the oil quantity on the sight glass.
5. Close-up(1) Start and operate the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(2) Allow the APU to run for 5 minutes.
(3) Shutdown the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(4) Do a leak check by a visual inspection of the oil quantity on the sight glass.
NOTE: No leaks are permitted.
Subtask 49-93-16-410-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 49-93-16-860-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
