A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
Subtask 49-91-42-865-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3) Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(2) Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Installation of the Drain Plug
(1) Lubricate the new AIPC 49-91-09-02-090 O-RING (4) or AIPC 49-91-84-30-120 O-RING (4) with Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) .
(2) Install the new O-ring (4) on the drain plug (3).
(3) TORQUE the drain plug (3) to between 88 and 72 lbf.in (0.99 and 0.81 m.daN )

(4) Install the metal chip detector (1) with the new two AIPC 49-91-42-70-010 PACKINGS (2) or AIPC 49-91-84-33-010 PACKINGS (2).
(5) Do the servicing of the oil system (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-007)
Subtask 49-91-42-865-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Lubricate the new AIPC 49-91-09-02-090 O-RING (4) or AIPC 49-91-84-30-120 O-RING (4) with Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine - - (Material No.03ABA1) or Synthetic base Lubricating Oil-Turbine Engine Low Temp. - (Material No.03ABB1) .
(2) Install the new O-ring (4) on the drain plug (3).
(3) TORQUE the drain plug (3) to between 88 and 72 lbf.in (0.99 and 0.81 m.daN )
. (4) Install the metal chip detector (1) with the new two AIPC 49-91-42-70-010 PACKINGS (2) or AIPC 49-91-84-33-010 PACKINGS (2).
(5) Do the servicing of the oil system (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-007)
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Start and Operate the APU.
(1) Close the APU access doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(2) Start the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(3) Allow the APU to run for 5 minutes.
(4) Shutdown the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(5) Open the APU access doors 315AL 136AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(6) Check the drain plug for leaks.
5. Close-up(1) Close the APU access doors (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(2) Start the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(3) Allow the APU to run for 5 minutes.
(4) Shutdown the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(5) Open the APU access doors 315AL 136AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(6) Check the drain plug for leaks.
NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.
Subtask 49-91-42-410-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(4) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 49-91-42-860-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3) Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(4) Close the APU access doors 315AL 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
