A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the overhead panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is released (ON legend is off).
(3) On the APU section of overhead panel 25VU, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
Subtask 49-73-32-865-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

C. Get Access
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(3) Open APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
4. ProcedureWARNING:
BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
(1) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(3) Open APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(4) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
Subtask 49-73-32-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Restart of the Data Memory Module (DMM)
(1) Make sure that you download the last version of the DMM reader software to the computer through the Honeywell portal:
(b) On the "Software & Data" page, go to the "Engine & APU Software Downloads" page.
(c) On the "Engine & APU Software Downloads" page, select "DMM Reader Software".
(2) Find the correct data that you will install in the DMM:
(a) Do a check of the APU hours since the last shop visit.
1 If the APU hours are not available, use the APU hours (TSN). You will use this number of hours for two DMM parameters (OVRHAUL_HR and INSTALL_HR) in the procedure.
(b) Do a check of the APU cycles since the last shop visit.
1 If the APU cycles are not available, use 0 cycles. You will use this number of cycles for three DMM parameters (TURB_CYCLES, LC_CYCLES and EC_CYCLES) in the procedure.
(c) Examine if a high-efficiency diffuser is installed in the APU.
1 If you installed SB8313 on the APU or the APU is Series 25 or more, select "YES".
2 If you did not installed SB8313 on the APU and the APU is not Series 25 or more, select "NO".
(d) The DMM gives the parameters that follow:
(4) Disconnect the APU harness from the DMM.
(5) Make sure that the supplier of the DMM reader is Honeywell.
(6) Connect the 2024215-1 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-2 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-3 DMM READER - APU or 70642177 DMM READER - APU to the DMM.
(7) Make sure that the 2024215-1 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-2 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-3 DMM READER - APU or 70642177 DMM READER - APU is energized.
(8) Start Windmm.
(10) In window 2, select the ABOUT menu at the top of the window to do a check of the software version:
(a) In window 3, make sure that the DMM Communication Build version number is 200903 or more.
(b) If the version is not correct, abort the procedure and download the software as follows:
1 On the Honeywell portal, go to the "Software & Data" page.
2 On the "Software & Data" page, go to the "Engine & APU Software Downloads" page.
3 On the "Engine & APU Software Downloads" page, select the "DMM Reader Software" page.
4 On the "DMM Reader Software" page, select "CHANGE SPECIFIC DMM ENTRY CONTENTS".
5 On the "CHANGE SPECIFIC DMM ENTRY CONTENTS" page, in window 4, select the "SB 7791" button.
6 When the warning shows in the "Message BOX", in window 5, select "OK" to continue.
(11) Use the correct APU data to enter the parameters that follow.
(12) In window 6, write the APU serial number:
(a) If the APU serial number starts with an R, write the capital letter R in the Engine Prefix box.
(b) If the APU serial number starts with a P, write the capital letter P in the Engine Prefix box.
(c) Write the APU serial number in the Engine Serial Number box and select OK to continue.
(13) In window 7, select YES if the Engine Serial Number with Prefix is correct. If the Engine Serial Number or the Prefix is not correct, select NO.
(14) In window 8, write the default value for the APU hours and select OK to continue.
(15) In window 9, select YES if the APU hours are correct or NO if they are not correct.
(16) In window 10, write the default value for the APU minutes. The number must be between 0 and 59:
(a) Use 0 if it is unknown.
(b) Select OK to continue.
(17) In window 11, select YES if the APU minutes are correct or NO if they are not correct.
(18) In window 12, write the default value for the APU cycles and select OK to continue.
(19) In window 13, select YES if the APU cycles are correct or NO if they are not correct.
(20) In window 14, write the value since the last shop visit or 0 for the TURB_CYCLES, and select OK to continue.
(21) In window 15, select YES if the TURB_CYCLES are correct or NO if they are not correct.
(22) In window 16, write the value since the last shop visit or 0 for the LC_CYCLES, and select OK to continue.
(23) In window 17, select YES if the LC_CYCLES are correct or NO if they are not correct.
(24) In window 18, write the value since the last shop visit or 0 for the EC_CYCLES, and select OK to continue.
(25) In window 19, select YES if the EC_CYCLES are correct or NO if they are not correct.
(26) In window 20, write the value since the last shop visit or the APU hours for the OVRHAUL_HR, and select OK to continue.
(27) In window 21, select YES if the OVRHAUL_HR is correct or NO if it is not correct.
(28) In window 22, write the value since the last shop visit or the APU hours for the INSTALL_HR, and select OK to continue.
(29) In window 23, select YES if the INSTALL_HR is correct or NO if it is not correct.
(30) In window 24, write the default value for the ECS_OFFSET and select OK to continue.
(32) In window 26:
(a) If the high-efficiency diffuser is installed, select SB8313 –ChangeNumber 57 or APU Series >= 25.
(b) If the high-efficiency diffuser is not installed, select LEGACY DIFFUSER INSTALLED.
(33) The DMM is now initialized and will download the contents to a file that has the name of the APU and the extension ".DAT". Select OK to continue.
(35) Window 2 comes into view again.
(a) If you installed SB 131-49-7900 on the APU, select CHANGE SPECIFIC DMM ENTRY CONTENTS to enter the related data into the DMM as given in SB 131-49-7900.
(b) If you installed SB 131-49-8314 on the APU, select CHANGE SPECIFIC DMM ENTRY COMMENTS to enter the related data into the DMM as given in SB 131-49-8314.
(36) Window 2 comes into view again, select RETURN TO ENGINE SELECTION to go back to window 1.
(37) In window 1, select CLOSE to close the program.
(38) Disconnect the 2024215-1 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-2 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-3 DMM READER - APU or 70642177 DMM READER - APU from the DMM and connect the APU harness to the DMM.
(39) Before you set the system on, do the steps that follow:
(a) Close the ECB circuit breaker (1KD).
(b) Close the APU circuit breaker (2KD).
(c) Set the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to ON.
(40) After 120 seconds, on the MCDU "APU SERVICE DATA" page, make sure that the information shown is the same as the information recorded during the procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-804).
(a) Close the DMU/FDIMU circuit breaker (5TV).
(b) Push the MCDU MENU mode key to show the MCDU MENU page.
(c) Push the line key adjacent to the AIDS indication to show the AIDS page.
(d) Push the line key adjacent to the PARAMETER CALL-UP ALPHA indication to show the ALPHA CALL-UP CTRL page.
(e) Push the line key adjacent to the ALPHA MENU DISPLAY indication to show the ALPHA CALL-UP page.
(f) Enter the APU serial number code ASN. Make sure that the ASN is equal to the APU serial number.
(g) Enter the APU Hours code AHRS. Make sure that the AHRS is equal to the number that you entered.
(h) Enter the APU Cycles code ACYC. Make sure that the ACYC is equal to the number that you entered.
(i) Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
(42) If the APU hours and cycles shown on the MCDU do not agree with the values that you recorded during the procedure, change the DMU/FDIMU offset values as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-740-013).
Subtask 49-73-32-865-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that you download the last version of the DMM reader software to the computer through the Honeywell portal:
NOTE: You can get the ECS_OFFSET in the APU ATP data sheet that is in the APU log book.
(a) On the Honeywell portal, go to the "Software & Data" page. (b) On the "Software & Data" page, go to the "Engine & APU Software Downloads" page.
(c) On the "Engine & APU Software Downloads" page, select "DMM Reader Software".
(2) Find the correct data that you will install in the DMM:
(a) Do a check of the APU hours since the last shop visit.
1 If the APU hours are not available, use the APU hours (TSN). You will use this number of hours for two DMM parameters (OVRHAUL_HR and INSTALL_HR) in the procedure.
(b) Do a check of the APU cycles since the last shop visit.
1 If the APU cycles are not available, use 0 cycles. You will use this number of cycles for three DMM parameters (TURB_CYCLES, LC_CYCLES and EC_CYCLES) in the procedure.
(c) Examine if a high-efficiency diffuser is installed in the APU.
1 If you installed SB8313 on the APU or the APU is Series 25 or more, select "YES".
2 If you did not installed SB8313 on the APU and the APU is not Series 25 or more, select "NO".
(d) The DMM gives the parameters that follow:
- APU SN
- HOURS
- MINUTES
- CYCLES
- ECS_OFFSET.
(4) Disconnect the APU harness from the DMM.
(5) Make sure that the supplier of the DMM reader is Honeywell.
(6) Connect the 2024215-1 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-2 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-3 DMM READER - APU or 70642177 DMM READER - APU to the DMM.
(7) Make sure that the 2024215-1 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-2 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-3 DMM READER - APU or 70642177 DMM READER - APU is energized.
(8) Start Windmm.
NOTE: A test to find if the DMM reader is correctly installed occurs. After the test is completed, the window 1 menu comes into view. The buttons can be in different positions.
(9) In window 1, select the 131-9A button. (10) In window 2, select the ABOUT menu at the top of the window to do a check of the software version:
(a) In window 3, make sure that the DMM Communication Build version number is 200903 or more.
(b) If the version is not correct, abort the procedure and download the software as follows:
1 On the Honeywell portal, go to the "Software & Data" page.
2 On the "Software & Data" page, go to the "Engine & APU Software Downloads" page.
3 On the "Engine & APU Software Downloads" page, select the "DMM Reader Software" page.

(23) In window 17, select YES if the LC_CYCLES are correct or NO if they are not correct.
(24) In window 18, write the value since the last shop visit or 0 for the EC_CYCLES, and select OK to continue.
(25) In window 19, select YES if the EC_CYCLES are correct or NO if they are not correct.
(26) In window 20, write the value since the last shop visit or the APU hours for the OVRHAUL_HR, and select OK to continue.
(27) In window 21, select YES if the OVRHAUL_HR is correct or NO if it is not correct.
(28) In window 22, write the value since the last shop visit or the APU hours for the INSTALL_HR, and select OK to continue.
(29) In window 23, select YES if the INSTALL_HR is correct or NO if it is not correct.
(30) In window 24, write the default value for the ECS_OFFSET and select OK to continue.
NOTE: All the ECS_OFFSET values other than zero are negative.
(31) In window 25, select YES if the ECS_OFFSET is correct or NO if it is not correct. (32) In window 26:
(a) If the high-efficiency diffuser is installed, select SB8313 –ChangeNumber 57 or APU Series >= 25.
(b) If the high-efficiency diffuser is not installed, select LEGACY DIFFUSER INSTALLED.
(33) The DMM is now initialized and will download the contents to a file that has the name of the APU and the extension ".DAT". Select OK to continue.
NOTE: This file is located in the c:\honeywell\windmm\131-9A directory of the PC. A message will show the file name in window 27.
(34) Send the file electronically to Honeywell at sb7791.dmm@honeywell.com. (35) Window 2 comes into view again.
(a) If you installed SB 131-49-7900 on the APU, select CHANGE SPECIFIC DMM ENTRY CONTENTS to enter the related data into the DMM as given in SB 131-49-7900.
(b) If you installed SB 131-49-8314 on the APU, select CHANGE SPECIFIC DMM ENTRY COMMENTS to enter the related data into the DMM as given in SB 131-49-8314.
(36) Window 2 comes into view again, select RETURN TO ENGINE SELECTION to go back to window 1.
(37) In window 1, select CLOSE to close the program.
(38) Disconnect the 2024215-1 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-2 DMM READER - APU, 2024215-3 DMM READER - APU or 70642177 DMM READER - APU from the DMM and connect the APU harness to the DMM.
(39) Before you set the system on, do the steps that follow:
(a) Close the ECB circuit breaker (1KD).
(b) Close the APU circuit breaker (2KD).
(c) Set the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to ON.
(40) After 120 seconds, on the MCDU "APU SERVICE DATA" page, make sure that the information shown is the same as the information recorded during the procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-804).
NOTE: This is to make sure that the ECB correctly uploaded the data from the DMM.
(41) On the MCDU "APU SERVICE DATA" page, make sure that the APU hours, cycles and serial number are equal to the values that you entered during the procedure. (a) Close the DMU/FDIMU circuit breaker (5TV).
(b) Push the MCDU MENU mode key to show the MCDU MENU page.
(c) Push the line key adjacent to the AIDS indication to show the AIDS page.
(d) Push the line key adjacent to the PARAMETER CALL-UP ALPHA indication to show the ALPHA CALL-UP CTRL page.
(e) Push the line key adjacent to the ALPHA MENU DISPLAY indication to show the ALPHA CALL-UP page.
(f) Enter the APU serial number code ASN. Make sure that the ASN is equal to the APU serial number.
(g) Enter the APU Hours code AHRS. Make sure that the AHRS is equal to the number that you entered.
(h) Enter the APU Cycles code ACYC. Make sure that the ACYC is equal to the number that you entered.
(i) Push the MCDU MENU mode key.
(42) If the APU hours and cycles shown on the MCDU do not agree with the values that you recorded during the procedure, change the DMU/FDIMU offset values as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-740-013).
NOTE: In some conditions, you must set the DMU/FDIMU offset values to zero. But for some special conditions, you must set the offset to a specified value for the APU hours/cycles shown on the MCDU to agree with the values that you entered during the procedure.
(43) Set the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to OFF and let the ECB to power down. B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the light switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the safety harness.

(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
