  • If you find contamination, do the procedure that follows:
     (a) Clean the APU inlet plenum internally and all the sound attenuator baffles.
  • Apply Aqueous Cleaner-Turbine Engine Gas Path - Legacy (Material No.08AJA9) mixed with clean drinking water with a SPRAY - BOTTLE with a pressure between 2 bar (29.0075 psi) and 3 bar (43.5113 psi) on:
. The inner walls of the installed inlet plenum
    . The sound attenuator baffles.
     (b) Let the mixture stay on the surfaces for 20 minutes to complete the cleaning procedure.
     (c) Prepare a HOT WATER PRESSURE WASHER with a maximum pressure of 3 bar (43.5113 psi) and a maximum temperature of 130 deg.C (266.00 deg.F).
     (d) Flush the cleaning solution from the surface of the inspection area with a HOT WATER PRESSURE WASHER. Do not point the HOT WATER PRESSURE WASHER to the external components of the APU.
     (e) Examine the surfaces after the cleaning procedure.
