WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.

HP Bleed Override SolenoidSubtask 36-11-58-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that engine 1(2) is shutdown for a minimum of 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) In the cockpit, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (OFF legend is on).
(b) Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (ON legend is off).
(c) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
(4) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell the persons not to start engine 1(2).
(5) On the HP ground connector:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(6) On maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton-switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
(7) Make sure that an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in the position below the engine.
Subtask 36-11-58-010-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that engine 1(2) is shutdown for a minimum of 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) In the cockpit, on AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (OFF legend is on).
(b) Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton-switch is released (ON legend is off).
(c) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
(4) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell the persons not to start engine 1(2).
(5) On the HP ground connector:
(a) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(6) On maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton-switch is off.
(b) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in the position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
(7) Make sure that an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in the position below the engine.
B. Make sure that these access doors are open:
(1) FOR [11HA1] (SOL-HP BLEED OVERRIDE, ENG1)

Subtask 36-11-58-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid
(1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
(4) Install the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4) on the support (6).
(5) Install the screws (2) and the washers (1) on the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Connect the electrical connector (3) to the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(9) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(11) Connect the sense line (7) to the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(12) TORQUE the nut to between 155.76 and 127.44 lbf.in (1.76 and 1.44 m.daN ).
Subtask 36-11-58-720-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
- For GTCP 36-300 APU (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For APS 3200 APU (Ref. AMM D/O 49-00-00-86)
- For 131-9(A) APU (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
(3) Install a new AIPC 36-11-06-06-240 SEAL (5) to the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4). (4) Install the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4) on the support (6).
(5) Install the screws (2) and the washers (1) on the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(6) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(8) Connect the electrical connector (3) to the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(9) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
CAUTION:
APPLY ONLY A THIN LAYER OF GREASE TO THE THREADS OF THE HOSE-ASSEMBLY COUPLING NUTS, AND REMOVE THE UNWANTED GREASE TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION OF THE HOSE ASSEMBLY. IF YOU USE TOO MUCH GREASE, IT CAN CAUSE CLOGGING OF THE HOSE ASSEMBLY OR DAMAGE TO THE RELATED COMPONENTS.
(10) Lubricate the threads of the coupling nuts and the fitting of the sense line with Dry lubricant-General Assembly Molybdenum Disulfide & Silicone - (Material No.03QBC1) or Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) . (11) Connect the sense line (7) to the HP-Bleed Override Solenoid (4).
(12) TORQUE the nut to between 155.76 and 127.44 lbf.in (1.76 and 1.44 m.daN )
.B. Do the opening test of the HP bleed valve from the functional test of the HP bleed valve (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-51-720-001).
5. Close-upSubtask 36-11-58-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close these access doors :
(a) FOR [11HA1] (SOL-HP BLEED OVERRIDE, ENG1)
415AL 415AR
(b) FOR [11HA2] (SOL-HP BLEED OVERRIDE, ENG2)
425AL 425AR
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 36-11-58-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close these access doors :
(a) FOR [11HA1] (SOL-HP BLEED OVERRIDE, ENG1)

(3) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
