B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:

(2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is pushed (the OFF legend is off).
- Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
- Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
C. Get Access

A. Installation of the Tool
(2) Remove the blanking cap from the test port.
(3) Connect a M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32):

1 If you can install the red side of the tool:
a Remove the blue blanking cap from the blue side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
b Install the blue blanking cap on the red side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
c Tighten the blue blanking cap with your hand.
d Install the blue side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) on the test port of the HP bleed valve.
Connection of the Universal Test Port Tool (Blue Side) with the Bleed Test Set P/N 99127B03 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
e Tighten the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) on the HP bleed valve with your hand.
(4) Connect the hose (T04) to the bleed-test set pressure-supply (9).
(5) Connect the hose (T05) to the bleed-test set pressure-reading (14).
(6) Connect the hoses (T04) and (T05) to "Y" adaptor (T06).
(7) Connect "Y" adaptor (T06) to the test port adaptor (T25).
(8) Connect the test port adaptor (T25) to the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32).
(9) Connect the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) to the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) and do the steps that follow:
(a) Use the 99127-231 TEST SET BLEED - KIT to do this test.
(b) Set the pressure gage (5) to ON. The pressure value given on the LCD screen must be 0 psi (0 bar). If it is not 0 psi (0 bar), push the ON button for 10 seconds.
(10) Connect 28VDC electrical cord (T03) between the electrical inlet (11) of the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) and an external SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL:
(12) Do the test as follows:
(a) If you installed the red side of the tool, do the test given in paragraph 4.B.
(b) If you installed the blue side of the tool, do the test given in paragraph 4.C.
Subtask 36-11-51-720-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(1) Cut, remove and discard the lockwire between the blanking cap and the test port of the HP bleed valve. (2) Remove the blanking cap from the test port.
(3) Connect a M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32):
CAUTION:
ALWAYS TRY TO INSTALL THE RED SIDE OF THE UNIVERSAL TEST PORT TOOL FIRST. IF YOU CANNOT INSTALL THE RED SIDE, INSTALL THE BLUE SIDE.
(a) Install the red side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) on the test port of the HP bleed valve.
Connection of the Universal Test Port Tool (Red Side) with the Bleed Test Set P/N 99127B03 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Make sure that you correctly tighten the blue blanking cap of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) on the blue port,
- Go to step 4.A.(4).
a Remove the blue blanking cap from the blue side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
b Install the blue blanking cap on the red side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL.
c Tighten the blue blanking cap with your hand.
d Install the blue side of the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) on the test port of the HP bleed valve.
Connection of the Universal Test Port Tool (Blue Side) with the Bleed Test Set P/N 99127B03 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (4) Connect the hose (T04) to the bleed-test set pressure-supply (9).
(5) Connect the hose (T05) to the bleed-test set pressure-reading (14).
(6) Connect the hoses (T04) and (T05) to "Y" adaptor (T06).
(7) Connect "Y" adaptor (T06) to the test port adaptor (T25).
(8) Connect the test port adaptor (T25) to the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32).
(9) Connect the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) to the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) and do the steps that follow:
(a) Use the 99127-231 TEST SET BLEED - KIT to do this test.
(b) Set the pressure gage (5) to ON. The pressure value given on the LCD screen must be 0 psi (0 bar). If it is not 0 psi (0 bar), push the ON button for 10 seconds.
(10) Connect 28VDC electrical cord (T03) between the electrical inlet (11) of the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) and an external SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL:
- Start the SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
(12) Do the test as follows:
(a) If you installed the red side of the tool, do the test given in paragraph 4.B.
(b) If you installed the blue side of the tool, do the test given in paragraph 4.C.

D. Removal of the Tool
(1) Stop the SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
(2) Disconnect 28VDC electrical cord (T03) from the electrical inlet (11) of the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) and the external SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
(3) Remove the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) from the test port of the HP bleed valve and from the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET.
(4) Disconnect the test port adaptor (T25) from the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32).
(5) Disconnect "Y" adaptor (T06) from the test port adaptor (T25).
(6) Disconnect the hoses (T04) and (T05) from "Y" adaptor (T06).
(7) Disconnect the hose (T05) from the bleed-test set pressure-reading (14).
(8) Disconnect the hose (T04) from the bleed-test set pressure-supply (9).
(9) Install the blanking cap on the test port of the HP bleed valve.
(10) TORQUE the blanking cap to between 1.2 and 1 m.daN (106.19 and 88.50 lbf.in )

(12) Install and tighten the blue blanking cap with your hand on the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32), if it was removed.
5. Close-up(1) Stop the SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
(2) Disconnect 28VDC electrical cord (T03) from the electrical inlet (11) of the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET (T01) and the external SUPPLY - 28 VDC, ELECTRICAL.
(3) Remove the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32) from the test port of the HP bleed valve and from the 99127B03 BLEED TEST SET.
(4) Disconnect the test port adaptor (T25) from the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32).
(5) Disconnect "Y" adaptor (T06) from the test port adaptor (T25).
(6) Disconnect the hoses (T04) and (T05) from "Y" adaptor (T06).
(7) Disconnect the hose (T05) from the bleed-test set pressure-reading (14).
(8) Disconnect the hose (T04) from the bleed-test set pressure-supply (9).
(9) Install the blanking cap on the test port of the HP bleed valve.
(10) TORQUE the blanking cap to between 1.2 and 1 m.daN (106.19 and 88.50 lbf.in )
. WARNING:

(11) Safety the blanking cap with a lockwire (12) Install and tighten the blue blanking cap with your hand on the M82000879 TEST PORT UNIVERSAL (T32), if it was removed.
