   (2) On AIR COND overhead panel 30VU, put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic systems.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Fully extend the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
   (2) On center pedestal panel 114VU:
     (a) Install the 98D27803000000 LOCKING TOOL-FLAP SLAT LEVER,INT. POSITION in position on the flap/slat control lever (Ref. AMM TASK 27-00-00-480-002).
     (b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flap/slat controls.

4. Procedure
Subtask 36-11-48-020-096-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Wing Anti-Icing Tapping-Seals
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (1) Cut, remove and discard the Wire-- Stainless Steel Braided - (Material No.14QAD1) from the insulation muff (11).
   (2) Remove the insulation muff (11).
   (3) Remove the nut (2), the washer (3) and the screw (5).
     (a) Disconnect the bonding lead (6) from the duct assembly (4).
   (4) Remove the clamp (7) from the bleed air duct (8).
   (5) Remove the duct assembly (4) and the flexible connector (10) from the duct assembly (1).
   (6) Remove and discard the seals (9).
   (7) Install a LOCALLY MANUFACTURED - BLANKING CAP on the bleed air duct (8).

B. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Remove the LOCALLY MANUFACTURED - BLANKING CAP from the bleed air duct (8).
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area with a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
Subtask 36-11-48-420-114-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Installation of the Wing Anti-Icing Tapping-Seals
   (1) Put the new AIPC 36-11-85-01-440 SEALS (9) at the correct installation positions.
   (2) Install the flexible connector (10) and the duct assembly (4) on the duct assembly (1).
   (3) Install the clamp (7) on the bleed air duct (8).
   (4) TORQUE the clamp (7) to between 5.10 and 3.90 m.N (45.13 and 34.51 lbf.in )
T.
   (5) Make sure that the clamp (7) is installed in the correct position.
   (6) Use Varnish Polyurethane-- Marking Structure (Material No.
04SAB2) to make a mark 2.00 mm (0.08 in.) wide and 8.00 mm (0.31 in.) long on the clamp (7).
   (7) Connect the bonding lead (6) with the screw (5), the washer (3) and the nut (2) on the duct assembly (4).
   (8) Do a check of the electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
   (9) Install the insulation muff (11) on the bleed air duct (8).
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (10) Safety the insulation muff (11) with Wire-- Stainless Steel Braided - (Material No.14QAD1) .
     (a) Cut unwanted ends of the Wire-- Stainless Steel Braided - (Material No.14QAD1) to approximately 20 mm (0.79 in.).
