(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.

4. Procedure
Subtask 57-41-37-010-063-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position below the applicable NACA duct panel 521BB(621BB).
(2) Remove the pressure-relief panels 521AB(621AB) and 521CB(621CB) adjacent to the NACA duct panel (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004).

B. Removal of the NACA Duct Panel 521BB(621BB)

NOTE: Some of the screws that hold the NACA duct panel (1) in position are longer than the others. Make a record of the position of each screw as it is removed.

(1) Hold the panel (1). Remove the three screws (2) and the four screws (3).
(2) Carefully remove the panel (1).
(3) Remove the packer (4).
