A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
   (2) Make sure that the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
   (3) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.

C. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the applicable NACA duct panel 521BB(621BB).
   (2) Make sure that the pressure-relief panels 521AB(621AB) and 521CB(621CB) are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004).
4. Procedure

A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

B. Installation of the NACA Duct Panel 521BB(621BB)
NOTE: Some of the screws that retain the NACA Duct panel (1) are longer than the others. Make sure that the correct screws are installed in the correct positions.
   (1) Hold the panel (1) in position. Make sure that the packer (4) is correctly installed.
   (2) Install the four screws (3) and the three screws (2).

A. Close Access
   (1) Install the pressure-relief panels 521AB(621AB) and 521CB(621CB) adjacent to the NACA duct panel (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-002).
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
   (2) Remove the safety barriers.
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
