(2) On panel 110VU:
- Make sure that the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle is in the fully counterclockwise position
- Fold the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle into the center console
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) on the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
- Make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(5) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).

F. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
4. ProcedureNOTE: If you do this task with the ground power set to 'ON' on the overhead panel, the systems that follow will receive an 'on ground' signal. This will occur with the false targets installed as the LGCIU's receive a signal from the ground power:
- Captain PHC1
- First Officer PHC2
- Stand-by PHC3
- CIDS
- EIU1 and EIU2
- CFDS
- WHC1 and WHC2
- RPCU (if installed)
- DLRB (if installed)
- SIU (if installed).
