4. Procedure
Subtask 32-22-00-220-054-A
A. Measurement of the NLG aft-door gap G1
NOTE: Use a RULER - STEEL to measure the NLG aft-door gap.
   (1) Put the ruler on the NLG leg, on the flat of the lock springs attachment.
   (2) Push the NLG aft door to the NLG leg.
   (3) Note the value L1 on the ruler at the door edge.
   (4) Push the NLG aft door in the opposite direction.
   (5) Note the value L2 on the ruler at the door edge.
   (6) Subtract the first value from the second one (G1=L2-L1).
NOTE: The maximum value for the NLG aft-door gap G1 must be 5 mm (0.1969 in.).
   (7) If the NLG aft-door gap G1 is more than 5 mm (0.1969 in.), do an inspection of the two NLG secondary-door hinges for each side (Ref. AMM TASK 52-82-00-200-002)
     (a) If there is no abnormal play when you push the rear of the door in all directions, go to the para (8).
     (b) If there is abnormal play, remove the door and do a check of the dimensions of all the bores (bushes and goose necks). If the dimensions are not in the limits, do the applicable repair SRM 517212
   (8) If the NLG aft-door gap G1 continues to be more than 5 mm (0.1969 in.), replace the rotating rod (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-16-000-001).
5. Close-up
