(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) On the panel 400VU:
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle is folded into the center console.
(5) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).

(1) Remove and discard the lockwire from the operating lever/by-pass valve rigging pin holes.
(2) Install the 98DNSA20208040 RIGGING PIN in the rigging pin holes through the operating lever into the by-pass valve.

WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
A. Safety Precautions(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) On the panel 400VU:
- make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle is folded into the center console.
(5) Make sure that the ground safety locks are installed on the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Depressurize the Green Hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
Subtask 32-12-00-865-074-A WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE CIRCUITS IN MAINTENANCE ARE ISOLATED BEFORE YOU SUPPLY ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT. UNWANTED ELECTRICAL POWER CAN BE DANGEROUS.
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002). (2) Depressurize the Green Hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

D. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) below the applicable zone 730(740).
(2) Open the applicable access panel(s):
(a) FOR [2804GM] (CABLE CONTROL)
- open 195BB
(b) FOR [2805GM] (CABLE CONTROL)
- open 196BB.
(3) If necessary, open the MLG doors by the free fall system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-33-00-720-001).
(4) Install a 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK on each MLG door actuating cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(5) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the PTU (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) below the applicable zone 730(740).
(2) Open the applicable access panel(s):
(a) FOR [2804GM] (CABLE CONTROL)
- open 195BB
(b) FOR [2805GM] (CABLE CONTROL)
- open 196BB.
(3) If necessary, open the MLG doors by the free fall system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-33-00-720-001).
(4) Install a 460005835 SLEEVE - GROUND LOCK on each MLG door actuating cylinder (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(5) Disconnect the isolation coupling of the PTU (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
A. Reactivation of the MLG Ground Door Opening Cable (1) Remove and discard the lockwire from the operating lever/by-pass valve rigging pin holes.
(2) Install the 98DNSA20208040 RIGGING PIN in the rigging pin holes through the operating lever into the by-pass valve.
(3) If the defective opening cable has been removed:
- install a new cable (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-16-400-001).
- release the cable end(s)
- replace the opening cable (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-16-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-16-400-001).
B. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the MLG door ground-opening mechanism (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-710-002).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the applicable access panel(s):

(2) Close the applicable MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

(2) Close the applicable MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
