A. Operational Test of the MASTER CAUT lights
NOTE: If the MASTER CAUT lights are on before the test, on the ECAM control panel, push the CLR key to reset all warnings.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the panel 121VU :

  • open the circuit breaker 2WV .
  • on the upper ECAM DU:
    * the FWS SDAC2 FAULT warning message comes into view.
  • open the circuit breaker 44WV.
* the ELEC DC BUS2 FAULT warning message comes into view.
  • on the lower ECAM DU:
    * the ELEC page comes into view.
  • the single chime operates.
  • on the CAPT and F/O glareshield panels 131VU and 130VU:
    * the MASTER CAUT lights come on.
2.On the CAPT and F/O glareshield panel:

  • push then release the MASTER CAUT light.
  • the CAPT and F/O MASTER CAUT lights go off.
3.On the panel 121VU :

  • close the circuit breaker 44WV.
  • on the upper ECAM DU:
    * the ELEC DC BUS2 FAULT warning message goes out of view.
  • on the lower ECAM DU:
    * the ELEC page goes out of view and the DOOR/OXY page comes into view.
  • close the circuit breaker 2WV.
  • On the upper ECAM DU:
    * the FWS SDAC2 FAULT warning message goes out of view.
  • after a some seconds, other caution messages can come into view.
4.On the ECAM control panel:

  • push the CLR key to reset all warnings.
  • on the upper ECAM DU:
    * the MEMO indication comes into view.
  • on the lower ECAM DU:
    * the DOOR page comes into view.

B. Operational Test of the MASTER WARN lights
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the ENG/APU FIRE panel 1WD:
  • push and hold the ENG 1(2) TEST pushbutton switch.
On the ENG/APU FIRE panel 1WD:
  • on the ENG 1(2) FIRE pushbutton switch, the FIRE legend comes on.
  • on the ENG 1(2) AGENT 1 and AGENT 2 pushbutton switches, the SQUIB and DISCH legends come on.

On the ENG panel 115VU:
  • on the ENG/1(2) FIRE/FAULT annunciator, the FIRE legend comes on.

After some seconds:
  • the continuous repetitive chime operates.

On the F/O and CAPT glareshield panels 130VU and 131VU:
  • the MASTER WARN lights flash.

On the upper ECAM DU:
  • the ENG 1(2) FIRE warning message comes into view.

On the lower ECAM DU:
  • the ENGINE page automatically comes into view.
2.On the ENG/APU FIRE panel 1WD:

  • release the ENG 1(2) TEST pushbutton switch.
  • all the annunciator lights go off
  • the continuous repetitive chime stops
  • on the upper ECAM DU, the warning message goes out of view
  • on the lower ECAM DU, the ENGINE page goes out of view

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
