A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3) Energize the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-008).

A. Operational Test of the CVDR

ACTION	RESULT
1.On control panel 21VU:	On control panel 21VU:
Push the RCDR/GND CTL button.	The blue indicator light "ON" comes on.
2.On panel 121VU:	On the ECAM display:
Open circuit breakers RCDR1 40TU and RCDR2 42TU	The "RECORDER CVR FAULT" indication comes on. The "RECORDER DFDR FAULT" indication comes on.
Close circuit breakers RCDR1 40TU and RCDR2 42TU.	The "RECORDER CVR FAULT" indication goes off. The "RECORDER DFDR FAULT" indication goes off.
3.On control panel 21VU:	On control panel 21VU:
Push the RCDR/GND CTL button.	The blue indicator light "ON" goes off.

5. Close-up
Subtask 31-39-00-862-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) De-energize the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-008).
(2) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
