E. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser for Maintenance

MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO THE DEACTIVATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO MAINTENANCE WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER.
IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS PROCEDURE, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED OPERATION AND THUS OF INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). F. Get Access
(1) Open the right thrust reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure(1) Open the right thrust reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
CAUTION:
USE TEFLON-JAWED PLIERS TO LOOSEN/TIGHTEN ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. DO NOT USE METAL-JAWED PLIERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN OCCUR.
Subtask 30-21-22-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. Removal of the Nacelle Anti-Ice Core-Pressure-Transducer (4003DN)
(1) Disconnect the transducer harness connector (4003DN-A) from the transducer (1) (4003DN).
(2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the transducer harness.
(3) Disconnection of the forward transducer sense-tube:
(b) Install a CAP - PROTECTION on the forward transducer sense-tube and transducer (1).
(4) Remove the two bolts (3) and two washers (2) that hold the transducer (1) to the engine bracket.
(5) Remove the transducer (1) from the engine.
(1) Disconnect the transducer harness connector (4003DN-A) from the transducer (1) (4003DN).
(2) Put a CAP - BLANKING on the transducer harness.
(3) Disconnection of the forward transducer sense-tube:
CAUTION:
USE A SECOND WRENCH TO HOLD THE MATING PARTS WHEN YOU LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE TUBE OR HOSE NUTS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS CAUTION, YOU CAN TWIST OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TUBES OR HOSES.
(a) Disconnect the forward transducer sense-tube from the transducer (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-12-000-801). (b) Install a CAP - PROTECTION on the forward transducer sense-tube and transducer (1).
(4) Remove the two bolts (3) and two washers (2) that hold the transducer (1) to the engine bracket.
(5) Remove the transducer (1) from the engine.
