A. Installation of the Hydraulic Suction Line from the Pylon to the Green Hydraulic Pump
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(4) Remove all the protective covers and caps from the openings, tubes, hoses and connectors.
(5) Put the hydraulic tube (2) in position on the engine.
(6) Connect the hydraulic tube (2) to the fitting on the hydraulic pump (1) with your hand.
(7) Connect the quick disconnect coupling between the hydraulic tube (2) and the pylon interface (10).
(8) Attach the hydraulic tube (2) to the engine as follows:
(a) Lubricate the threads of the bolts (4) with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(b) At each of the two locations, install the clamps (3) and the two bolts (4) to attach the hydraulic tube (2) to the support brackets (5).
(9) Use a WRENCH - STANDARD to hold the fitting on the hydraulic pump (1) and TRIPLE TORQUE the hydraulic tube (2) to between 20.41 and 17.39 m.daN (150.52 and 128.24 lbf.ft )
.
(10) TORQUE the bolts (4) to between 0.43 and 0.36 m.daN (38.05 and 31.86 lbf.in )
.
(11) Identify the tightened union nuts with a red line
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-22-910-001).
