A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-864-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
(4) On the overhead panel 23VU (24VU), make sure that:
Subtask 27-93-00-865-058-A NOTE: This Aircraft Maintenance Configuration is for the ELAC1. For the ELAC2, use the indications between the parentheses.
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the ground condition. (2) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-864-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
(4) On the overhead panel 23VU (24VU), make sure that:
- The FLT CTL/ELAC 1 (2) pushbutton switch is pushed (on this pushbutton switch, the FAULT and OFF legends are off).

A. Do a check of the reference of the software loaded in the ELAC
(2) Make sure that the P/N of the ELAC shown on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page is the one of a permitted configuration (refer to Airline Configuration Management Document).
(a) If the P/N of the ELAC shown on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page is different from the PN(s) given in the Airline Configuration Management Document, replace the ELAC (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-400-001).
5. Close-upNOTE: This procedure is for the ELAC1. For the ELAC2, use the indications between the parentheses.

(a) If the P/N of the ELAC shown on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page is different from the PN(s) given in the Airline Configuration Management Document, replace the ELAC (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-93-34-400-001).
NOTE: If the two ELACs were not loaded with the same software, make sure that the configuration of the ELAC1/ELAC2 is a permitted configuration.
Subtask 27-93-00-860-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2) Remove the old media disk (if there is one) from the storage box. Then put the new media disk in the storage box.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 27-93-00-860-063-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2) Remove the old media disk (if there is one) from the storage box. Then put the new media disk in the storage box.
(3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
