A. Removal of the Adjacent Units
(1) Make match marks on the components that you disconnect/remove to record their connections/positions. This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
(2) Remove the Multipurpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU) (3CA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001).
(3) Remove the Radio Management Panel (RMP) (1RG1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001).
(4) Remove the Audio Control Panel (ACP) (2RN1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-000-001).
(5) Remove the FLOOD LT/INTEG LT panel 111VU.
(6) Remove the weather radar control unit (3SQ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-000-001).
(7) Remove the speedbrake control transducer unit (7CE) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-92-14-000-001).
(8) Remove the MCDU (3CA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001).
(9) Remove the RMP (1RG2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001).
(10) Remove the ACP (2RN2) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-12-000-001).
(11) Remove the FLOOD LT panel 112VU.
(12) Remove the ATC/TCAS control unit (3SH) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-52-12-000-001).
(13) Remove the flap and slat control lever (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-43-000-001).
(14) Remove the printer (4TW) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-35-22-000-001).

(1) Remove the five screws (4) and the five washers (2) from the center pedestal structure (1).
(2) Remove the three screws (5) and the three washers (2) from the center pedestal structure (1).
(3) Remove the two screws (3) and the two washers (2) from the center pedestal structure (1).
(4) Remove the left foam panel (6) from the center pedestal structure (1).
