A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the flaps and slats are in the fully retracted position (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized.

4. Procedure
Subtask 27-51-43-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Flap and Slat Control Lever
(1) Remove the screws (1) and the washers (2).
(2) Lift the control lever assembly (9).
(3) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the control lever assembly (9).
(a) If necessary, remove the printer (Ref. AMM TASK 31-35-22-000-001).

NOTE: If you need more space to disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the control lever assembly or the CSU, you can remove the printer.

(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (7) and (6) from the Command Sensor Unit (CSU) (5).
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Cut and discard the lockwire from the screws (3).
(7) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (4).
(8) Remove the control lever assembly (9).

Subtask 27-51-43-020-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

NOTE: If you need more space to disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the control lever assembly or the CSU, you can remove the printer.

(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (7) and (6) from the CSU (5).
(5) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(6) Cut and discard the lockwire from the screws (3),(10).
(7) Remove the screws (3), (10) and the washers (4).
(8) Remove the control lever assembly (9).
