A. Safety Precautions
(3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
Subtask 24-92-00-650-058-A WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.NOTE: You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002) when you do work in a fuel tank.
(2) Install the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS on the flap/slat control lever. (3) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
B. Fuel Configuration
(1) Drain the remaining fuel from the applicable surge tank (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the zones 560 and 660.
(2) Open the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 57-27-11-000-002):

A. General Visual Inspection of All Exposed Wiring Within Dry Bay (Outboard)
(1) Do a visual inspection of the wiring to make sure that there is no signs of ageing, alteration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052110:
(a) On sensitive routes: 1S and 2S, vent surge tank overflow sensor.

(3) Remove the safety barriers.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
