A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
(3) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(4) Remove the forward cargo-compartment partition-panels at FR24A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
Subtask 24-92-00-862-098-A (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
(2) Open the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
(3) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(4) Remove the forward cargo-compartment partition-panels at FR24A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-000-001), (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
B. Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

Subtask 24-92-00-210-084-A
A. General Visual Inspection of 63VU, 80VU, 187VU and 188VU Installed in the Rear Avionic compartment
(1) Do a visual inspection of the wiring to make sure that there is no signs of ageing, alteration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052110:
(a) On the AC/DC feeder routes: 1G and 2G.
(b) On the AC/DC power-distribution routes: 1P and 2P.
(c) On the flight control wiring.
(d) On the engine control routes: 1S and 2S.
(e) On the other routes: 1M and 2M.
(f) On the audio route: 1R.
(g) On the coaxial wiring routes: 3T and 4T.
(h) On the generator excitation routes: 1E and 2E.
5. Close-up(1) Do a visual inspection of the wiring to make sure that there is no signs of ageing, alteration, overheating, scaling and deformation ESPM 2052110:
(a) On the AC/DC feeder routes: 1G and 2G.
(b) On the AC/DC power-distribution routes: 1P and 2P.
(c) On the flight control wiring.
(d) On the engine control routes: 1S and 2S.
(e) On the other routes: 1M and 2M.
(f) On the audio route: 1R.
(g) On the coaxial wiring routes: 3T and 4T.
(h) On the generator excitation routes: 1E and 2E.
NOTE: Use a FLASHLIGHT or a MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE if necessary.
(2) Make sure that there is no dust, lint or hydraulic contamination. Subtask 24-92-00-410-108-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the forward cargo-compartment partition-panels at FR24A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(3) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(4) Close the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the forward cargo-compartment partition-panels at FR24A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-400-001), (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00).
(3) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(4) Close the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
