A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

B. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 822.
   (2) Open the access door 822.
   (3) On the battery power center 105VU:
  • Loosen the two screws and remove the protective cover.
   (4) Open the access door 812.
   (5) On the AC/DC emergency power center 106VU:
  • Loosen the five screws and remove the protective cover.
4. Procedure

A. Check for C/B TRIPPED
   (1) If the C/B TRIPPED ECAM warning comes into view, do this check:
ACTION
RESULT
1.If the C/B TRIPPED ON OVHD PANEL warning comes into view on the upper ECAM DU:

  • On the overhead circuit breaker panel 49VU, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
  • If all the circuit breakers are closed, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
2.If the C/B TRIPPED R ELEC BAY warning comes into view on the upper ECAM DU:

  • On the battery power center 105VU, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
  • If all the circuit breakers are closed, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
3.If the C/B TRIPPED L ELEC BAY warning comes into view on the upper ECAM DU:

  • On the AC/DC emergency power center 106VU, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
  • If all the circuit breakers are closed, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
4.If the C/B TRIPPED REAR PNL J-M warning comes into view on the upper ECAM DU:

  • On the rear circuit breaker panel 121VU between lines J and M, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
  • If all the circuit breakers are closed, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
5.If the C/B TRIPPED REAR PNL N-R warning comes into view on the upper ECAM DU:

  • On the rear circuit breaker panel 121VU between lines N and R, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
  • If all the circuit breakers are closed, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
6.If C/B TRIPPED REAR PNL S-V warning comes into view on the upper ECAM DU:

  • On the rear circuit breaker panel 122VU between lines S and V, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
  • If all the circuit breakers are closed, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
7.If the C/B TRIPPED REAR PNL W-Z warning comes into view on the upper ECAM DU:

  • On the rear circuit breaker panel 122VU between lines W and Z, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
  • If all the circuit breakers are closed, no maintenance procedure is necessary.
5. Close-up
Subtask 24-50-00-410-051-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Install the protective cover on the battery power center 105VU.
   (2) Tighten the two screws.
   (3) Install the protective cover on the AC/DC emergency power center 106VU.
   (4) Tighten the five screws.
   (5) Close the access doors 822 and 812.
   (6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (7) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (2) On the ECAM control panel, set the UPPER DISPLAY and LOWER DISPLAY potentiometers to OFF.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
