   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

B. Get access to the avionics compartment.
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE at the avionics compartment door 812.
   (2) Open the access door 812.
   (3) Open the access panel on the AC/DC emergency power center 106VU.

A. Operational Test of the DC EMER CONFIG Caution
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the panel 106VU:
  • open the circuit breaker 68WV.

2.On the panel 49VU:
  • open the circuit breaker 12WV.
On the upper ECAM DU:
  • DC EMER CONFIG indication comes into view, with these indications below:
    - EMER ELEC PWR..MAN ON,
    - C/B TRIPPED L ELEC BAY.

On the lower ECAM DU:
  • the ELEC page comes into view with the amber DC ESS indication.
3.On the panel 49VU:
  • close the circuit breaker 12WV.
On the upper ECAM DU:
  • DC EMER CONFIG and EMER ELEC PWR..MAN ON indications go out of view.
4.On the panel 106VU:
  • close the circuit breaker 68WV.
On the upper ECAM DU:
  • C/B TRIPPED L ELEC BAY indication goes out of view.

A. Close Access
   (1) Close the access panel on the AC/DC emergency power center 106VU.
   (2) Close the access door 812.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
