C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) In all galley areas, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
   (2) On AC power center 123VU and on rear circuit-breaker panel 122VU, make sure that all the circuit breakers related to the galley feeder (xxMC) are closed.
NOTE: The applicable circuit breakers xxMC are related to the different cabin configurations.
   (3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (4) In the cockpit, on overhead ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch is pushed (OFF legend off).
Subtask 24-26-00-860-054-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) In all galley areas, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
   (2) On AC power center 123VU and rear circuit-breaker panel 122VU:
  • Make sure that all the circuit breakers related to the galley feeder (xxMC) are closed.
NOTE: The applicable circuit breakers xxMC are related to the different cabin configurations.
   (3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (4) In the cockpit, on overhead ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Make sure that the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch is pushed (OFF legend off).
  • Make sure that the COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch is pushed (OFF legend off).

A. Operational Test of the Manual and Automatic Galley and Bus Shedding
ACTION

1.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the ELEC key to get the ELEC page.
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The ELEC page comes into view.
2.On electrical panel 35VU:
  • Release the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch.
On electrical panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legend of the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch comes on.

On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The white GALLEY SHED indication comes into view.

In the forward and aft galleys, if item(s) of equipment is(are) installed:
  • Make sure that no item of equipment operates.

If the middle galley(s) is(are) installed and has(have) item(s) of equipment:
  • Make sure that no item of equipment operates.

Make sure that no item that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is supplied ASM 246101.

Make sure that no item that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is supplied ASM 245103.

If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that no item that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is supplied ASM 243203.
3.On electrical panel 35VU:
  • Push the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch.
On electrical panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legend of the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch goes off.

On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The white GALLEY SHED indication goes out of view.

In the forward and aft galleys, if item(s) of equipment is(are) installed:
  • Make sure that item(s) of equipment operate(s).

If the middle galley(s) is(are) installed and has(have) item(s) of equipment:
  • Make sure that the item(s) operate(s).

Make sure that the item(s) that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is(are) supplied with 115VAC/400Hz ASM 245103.

If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that item(s) that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is supplied with 28VDC ASM 243203.

Make sure that item(s) that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 246101.
4.On rear circuit-breaker panel 122VU:
  • Open the ELEC/GALLEY & CAB/GND/FLT/LOGIC circuit breaker (7XA).
On the lower ECAM DU, on the ELEC page:
  • The white GALLEY SHED indication comes into view.

In the forward and aft galleys, if item(s) of equipment is(are) installed:
  • Make sure that only the item(s) that the galley supply control-relay (5XA) controls operate(s) ASM 245601.


    If the middle galley(s) is(are) installed and has(have) item(s) of equipment:
  • Make sure that only the item(s) that the galley supply control-relay (5XA) controls operate(s) ASM 245601.

Make sure that no item that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is supplied ASM 245103.

If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that no item that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is supplied ASM 243203.

Make sure that no item that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is supplied ASM 246101.
5.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the STS key to get the STATUS page.
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The MAIN GALLEY indication comes into view in the INOP SYS item.
6.On rear circuit-breaker panel 122VU:
  • Close the ELEC/GALLEY & CAB/GND/FLT/LOGIC circuit breaker (7XA).

7.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the ELEC key to get the ELEC page.
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The GALLEY SHED indication goes out of view.

In the forward and aft galleys, if item(s) of equipment is(are) installed:
  • Make sure that the item(s) of equipment operate(s).

If the middle galley(s) is(are) installed and has(have) item(s) of equipment:
  • Make sure that the item(s) of equipment operate(s).

Make sure that the item(s) that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is(are) supplied with 115VAC/400Hz ASM 245103.

If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that the item(s) that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 243203.

Make sure that the item(s) that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 246101.
8.On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Release the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches.
On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legends of the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches come on.
9.On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Push the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches.
On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legends of the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches go off.
10.On AC power-center panel 123VU:
  • Open the TR1(2) supply circuit-breaker (2PU1(2)).
NOTE: This test is for system 1. For the system 2, use the indications between the parentheses.
On the upper ECAM DU:
  • The TR1(2) FAULT indication comes into view.


    On the lower ECAM DU:
  • TR1(2) does not supply the DC1(2) busbar.
  • The DC2(1) busbar supplies the DC1(2) busbar through the DC BAT busbar.
  • The voltage from TR1(2) is 0V.
  • The AC ESS busbar supplies the DC ESS busbar through the ESS TR.


  • Make sure that no item that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is supplied ASM 246101.
  • Make sure that the item(s) that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is(are) supplied with 115VAC/400Hz ASM 245103.
  • If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that the item(s) that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 243203.
11.On AC power-center panel 123VU:
  • Close the TR1(2) supply circuit-breaker (2PU1(2)).
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The voltage from TR1(2) is approximately 28VDC.
12.On the MCDU, on the ELEC page:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the TR1(2) indication.
On the MCDU:
  • The TR1(2) page comes into view.
13.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the RESET indication.
On the MCDU, on the TR1(2) page:
  • The NO FAULT indication comes into view.


  • On the upper ECAM DU:
  • The TR1(2) FAULT indication goes out of view.


  • On the lower ECAM DU:
  • TR1(2) supplies the DC1(2) busbar.


  • Make sure that the item(s) that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 246101.
  • Make sure that the item(s) that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is(are) supplied with 115VAC/400Hz ASM 245103.
  • If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that the item(s) that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 243203.

Make sure that no item that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is supplied ASM 245103.

Make sure that no item that the DC shed busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is supplied ASM 246101.

5.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the STS key to get the STATUS page.
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The MAIN GALLEY indication comes into view in the INOP SYS item.
6.On rear circuit-breaker panel 122VU:
  • Close the ELEC/GALLEY & CAB/GND/FLT/LOGIC circuit breaker (7XA).

7.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the ELEC key to get the ELEC page.
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The GALLEY SHED indication goes out of view.

In the forward and aft galleys, if item(s) of equipment is(are) installed:
  • Make sure that the item(s) of equipment operate(s).

If the middle galley(s) is(are) installed and has(have) item(s) of equipment:
  • Make sure that the item(s) of equipment operate(s).

Make sure that the item(s) that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is(are) supplied with 115VAC/400Hz ASM 245103.

Make sure that the item(s) that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contact (10PN) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 246101.

If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that the item(s) that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 243204.
8.On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Release the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches.
On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legends of the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches come on.
9.On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Push the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches.
On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legends of the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches go off.
10.On AC power-center panel 123VU:
  • Open the TR1(2) supply circuit-breaker (2PU1(2)).
NOTE: This test is for system 1. For the other system 2, use the indications between the parentheses.
On the upper ECAM DU:
  • The TR1(2) FAULT indication comes into view.


    On the lower ECAM DU:
  • TR1(2) does not supply the DC1(2) busbar.
  • The DC2(1) busbar supplies the DC1(2) busbar through the DC BAT busbar.
  • The voltage from TR1(2) is 0V.
  • The AC ESS busbar supplies the DC ESS busbar through the ESS TR.


  • Make sure that no item that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is supplied ASM 246101.
  • Make sure that the item(s) that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is(are) supplied with 115VAC/400Hz ASM 245103.
  • If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that the item(s) that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 243204.
11.On AC power-center panel 123VU:
  • Close the TR1(2) supply circuit-breaker (2PU1(2)).
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The voltage from TR1(2) is approximately 28VDC.
12.On the MCDU, on the ELEC page:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the TR1(2) indication.
On the MCDU:
  • The TR1(2) page comes into view.
13.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the RESET indication.
On the MCDU, on the TR1(2) page:
  • The NO FAULT indication comes into view.


  • On the upper ECAM DU:
  • The TR1(2) FAULT indication goes out of view.


  • On the lower ECAM DU:
  • TR1(2) supplies the DC1(2) busbar.


  • Make sure that the item(s) that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is(are) supplied with 115VAC/400Hz ASM 245103.
  • Make sure that the item(s) that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 246101.

  • Push the STS key to get the STATUS page.
On the lower ECAM DU:

  • Close the ELEC/GALLEY & CAB/GND/FLT/LOGIC circuit breaker (7XA).

9.On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Push the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches.
On ELEC panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legends of the BAT1 and BAT2 pushbutton switches go off.
10.On AC power-center panel 123VU:
  • Open the TR1(2) supply circuit-breaker (2PU1(2)).
NOTE: This test is for system 1. For the system 2, use the indications between the parentheses.
On the upper ECAM DU:
  • The TR1(2) FAULT indication comes into view.


    On the lower ECAM DU:
  • TR1(2) does not supply the DC1(2) busbar.

12.On the MCDU, on the ELEC page:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the TR1(2) indication.
On the MCDU:
  • The TR1(2) page comes into view.
13.On the MCDU:
  • Push the line key adjacent to the RESET indication.
On the MCDU, on the TR1(2) page:
  • The NO FAULT indication comes into view.


  • On the upper ECAM DU:
  • The TR1(2) FAULT indication goes out of view.


  • On the lower ECAM DU:
  • TR1(2) supplies the DC1(2) busbar.


  • Make sure that the item(s) that the AC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (27XN) controls is(are) supplied with 115VAC/400Hz ASM 245103.
  • Make sure that the item(s) that the DC shed-busbar normal-supply-contactor (10PN) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 246101.
  • If TR3 (1PU3) is installed, make sure that the item(s) that the entertainment contactor (5PU3) controls is(are) supplied with 28VDC ASM 243203.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
