   (2) Make sure that the related Passenger Service Information Unit (PSIU) is open.

4. Procedure
Subtask 23-73-64-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the reading light
F Reading Light ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Install the bulb of the reading light.
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS. THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP. IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
     (a) Install the bulb (4) to the reading light (6).
     (b) Install the lens (3) to the reading light (6).
   (2) Install the reading light.
     (a) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (b) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
     (c) Put the reading light (6) in position on the PSIU (2).
     (d) Install the spring ring (1) to attach the reading light (6) on the PSIU (2).
     (e) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
     (f) Connect the electrical connectors (5) to the reading light (6).
     (g) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
     (h) Lift the PSIU (2) and engage it in the mounting rail .
     (i) Install the section hose with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING on the mounting rail.
     (j) Make sure that the section hose is not stretched.
     (k) Move the pulley assembly quickly forward and then rearward to prevent this.
Subtask 23-73-64-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the reading light
F Reading Light ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Put the reading light (6) in position on the PSU (3).
   (4) Install the retainer ring (7) to attach the reading light (6) on the PSU (3).
   (5) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (6) Connect the electrical connector (5) to the reading light (6).
   (7) Make sure that the electrical connector (5) is in the correct position.
   (8) Carefully push the bracket (4) to lock the electrical connector (5).
   (9) Make sure that you hear a click when you attach the bracket (4) to the reading light (6).
   (10) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (11) Lift the PSU (3) and engage it in the mounting rail (1).
   (12) Install the section hose (2) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING on the mounting rail (1).
   (13) Make sure that the section hose is not stretched.
   (14) Move the pulley assembly quickly forward and then rearward to prevent this.
Subtask 23-73-64-420-051-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the reading light

   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) If necessary, install the PSU adapter (7) on the PSU (3).
   (4) Put the reading light (6) in position on the PSU adapter (7).
   (5) Make sure that the three guide studs of the reading light (6) align with the correct slots in the PSU adapter (7).
   (6) Make sure that the symbol on the ring (5) aligns with the symbol on the PSU adapter (7).
   (7) Attach the ring (5) with two full turns until the symbol on the ring (5) aligns with the symbol on the PSU adapter (7) again.
   (8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (9) Connect the electrical connectors (4) to the reading light (5).
   (10) Make sure that the electrical connectors (4) are in the correct position.
   (11) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (12) Lift the PSU (3) and engage it in the mounting rail (1).
   (13) Install the section hose (2) with the 98A25208001000 PULLEY ASSY-SEALING on the mounting rail (1).
   (14) Make sure that the section hose is not stretched.
   (15) Move the pulley assembly quickly forward and then rearward to prevent this.
