Subtask 33-25-00-010-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP.
IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
(1) Carefully remove the lens from the reading light. C. Get Access
Subtask 33-25-00-480-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WITH YOUR FINGERS.
THE OILS FROM YOUR SKIN WILL QUICKLY CAUSE DETERIORATION OF THE LAMP.
IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS, CLEAN IT WITH A LINT-FREE CLOTH.
(1) Carefully remove the LED reading light lens (2) from the related reading light. D. Install the 8PE004363-10 ADJUSTING DEVICE in the housing of the reading light and turn it clockwise to lock it.
Subtask 33-25-00-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL E. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) On the FWD Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the membrane switches MAIN ON and POWER READ.
Subtask 33-25-00-860-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) On the FWD Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the membrane switches MAIN ON and POWER READ.
E. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) On the Light page of the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the LIGHT MAIN ON/OFF button to ON.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) On the Light page of the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the LIGHT MAIN ON/OFF button to ON.
Subtask 33-25-00-820-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Adjustment of the Passenger Reading Lights
(1) On the combi-panel 2040VU/2041VU, push the related membrane switch of the reading light.
(2) Make sure that the reading light comes on.
(3) Adjust the reading light beam to the center of the leading edge of the related seat with the 8PE004363-10 ADJUSTING DEVICE.
(5) Make sure that the reading light goes off.
Subtask 33-25-00-820-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the combi-panel 2040VU/2041VU, push the related membrane switch of the reading light.
(2) Make sure that the reading light comes on.
(3) Adjust the reading light beam to the center of the leading edge of the related seat with the 8PE004363-10 ADJUSTING DEVICE.
NOTE: Do not adjust the angle of the reading light beam more than 20 degrees in each direction.
(4) On the combi-panel 2040VU/2041VU, push the related membrane switch of the reading light. (5) Make sure that the reading light goes off.
A. Adjustment of the Passenger LED Reading Light
(1) On the Passenger Service Unit (PSU) (1), push the membrane switch of the related reading light.
(2) Make sure that the reading light comes on.
(3) Open and move the tray table (6) to the open position.
(4) Make sure that the seat (5) is in the vertical position.
(5) Put the 8PE455160-20 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT, READING LIGHT (4) in position on the housing (3) of the reading light.
(6) Use the 8PE455160-20 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT, READING LIGHT (4) to adjust the reading light beam (7).
(8) On the PSU (1), push the membrane switch of the related reading light.
(9) Make sure that the reading light goes off.
Subtask 33-25-00-820-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the Passenger Service Unit (PSU) (1), push the membrane switch of the related reading light.
(2) Make sure that the reading light comes on.
(3) Open and move the tray table (6) to the open position.
(4) Make sure that the seat (5) is in the vertical position.
(5) Put the 8PE455160-20 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT, READING LIGHT (4) in position on the housing (3) of the reading light.
(6) Use the 8PE455160-20 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT, READING LIGHT (4) to adjust the reading light beam (7).
NOTE: Do not adjust the angle of the reading light beam more than 20 degrees in each direction.
(7) Remove the 8PE455160-20 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT, READING LIGHT (4). (8) On the PSU (1), push the membrane switch of the related reading light.
(9) Make sure that the reading light goes off.
A. Adjustment of the Passenger LED Reading Light
(2) Pull the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) to remove the lens (7) from the reading light (2).
(3) Push the button of the related reading light to ON.
(4) Make sure that the reading light comes on.
(5) Make sure that the related seat is in the vertical position.
(6) Connect the adjustment end (3) of the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) to the reading light.
(7) Lock the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) with the small lever (4).
(8) Swivel the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) until the light beam through the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) points to the correct direction.
(9) Unlock the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) and remove the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) from the reading light (2).
(10) Push the button of the related reading light to OFF.
(11) Make sure that the reading light goes off.
(12) Put the suction end (6) of the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) with the lens (7) to the reading light (2).
(13) Push the lens (7) into the correct position until you hear a click.
(14) Press the pushbutton (5) to release the lens (7).
5. Close-upNOTE: The procedure for all the reading lights is the same. Only one procedure is given.
NOTE: The lens (7) stays on the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) during the adjustment procedure.
(1) Carefully push the suction end (6) of the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) onto the lens (7) of the reading light (2). (2) Pull the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) to remove the lens (7) from the reading light (2).
(3) Push the button of the related reading light to ON.
(4) Make sure that the reading light comes on.
(5) Make sure that the related seat is in the vertical position.
(6) Connect the adjustment end (3) of the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) to the reading light.
(7) Lock the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) with the small lever (4).
(8) Swivel the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) until the light beam through the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) points to the correct direction.
(9) Unlock the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) and remove the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) from the reading light (2).
(10) Push the button of the related reading light to OFF.
(11) Make sure that the reading light goes off.
(12) Put the suction end (6) of the 8PE455838-00 TOOL-ADJUSTMENT,READING LIGHT (1) with the lens (7) to the reading light (2).
(13) Push the lens (7) into the correct position until you hear a click.
(14) Press the pushbutton (5) to release the lens (7).
Subtask 33-25-00-080-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Turn the 8PE004363-10 ADJUSTING DEVICE counterclockwise to release it and remove it from the reading light.
Subtask 33-25-00-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the lens on the reading light.
Subtask 33-25-00-410-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the lens on the reading light.
B. Close Access
(1) Close the tray table (6).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Push the LED reading light lens (2) with a slight pressure in the housing (3) of the reading light.
(4) Make sure that you hear a click.
Subtask 33-25-00-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Close the tray table (6).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Push the LED reading light lens (2) with a slight pressure in the housing (3) of the reading light.
(4) Make sure that you hear a click.
C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the FAP 120RH push the membrane switches MAIN OFF and POWER READ.
(2) De-energize the CIDS
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-862-001).
(3) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
Subtask 33-25-00-860-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the FAP 120RH push the membrane switches MAIN OFF and POWER READ.
(2) De-energize the CIDS
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-862-001).
(3) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Push the LIGHT MAIN ON/OFF button on the LIGHT page of the FAP 120RH to OFF.
(3) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Push the LIGHT MAIN ON/OFF button on the LIGHT page of the FAP 120RH to OFF.
(3) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
