TASK 23-73-44-400-001-A
Installation of the Handset/Cradle

CAUTION: OBEY THE ELECTROSTATIC-DISCHARGE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN YOU DO MAINTENANCE ON OR NEAR DEVICES THAT ARE SENSITIVE TO ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION: BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS BECAUSE ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO INTERNAL COMPONENTS.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUSH THE COMPONENT TO ENGAGE THE CONNECTORS. LIGHT PRESSURE ON THE LOWER CORNERS OF THE UNIT IS SUFFICIENT. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CONNECTORS.
CAUTION: START THE CIDS ONLY WHEN THE AIR CIRCULATION SYSTEM OPERATES. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, THERE IS A RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE CIDS.
NOTE: The procedure for the cockpit handset/cradle is the same as the procedure for the cabin handset/cradle.
NOTE: The handset cradles have a handset cradle cover and a handset cradle mounting.
