C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the ground configuration.
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-864-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-864-001).
(3) On the overhead panel, on FLT CTL panels 23VU and 24VU:

Make sure that FAC 1 and FAC 2 pushbutton switches are pushed (FAULT and OFF legends are off).

D. Prepare the media.
(1) Get the media from the storage box in the cockpit.
(2) Make sure that the Part Number(s) (P/N) written on the media is(are) the same as the P/N(s) written in the airline configuration-management document.
(a) If the media is(are) not available or not the correct one(s), contact your airline engineering department to get the correct P/N(s) applicable to the aircraft.

Subtask 22-66-00-610-057-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

D. Prepare the Software.
(1) Make sure that the software Part number(s) (P/N) is(are) the same as the P/N(s) written in the airline configuration-management document.
(2) If the software P/N(s) is(are) not available or not the correct one(s), contact your airline engineering department to get the correct P/N(s) applicable to the aircraft.

Subtask 22-66-00-280-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

E. Check of the P/N(s) of the Operational Software Component(s) Uploaded to the related FAC.
(1) Identify and record the P/N(s) of FAC1(2).
(2) Get access to the "SYSTEM REPORT/TEST" menu page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-001).

ACTION	RESULT
1.Push the line select key adjacent to the "AFS" indication.	The "AFS MENU" page comes into view.
2.Push the line select key adjacent to the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" indication.	The "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page comes into view. The P/N(s) given on this page is(are) the operational software component(s) P/N(s).
3.Make sure that the FAC P/N(s) on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page is(are) of the C13206XXXX type.
4.Do a check of the two last digits of the FAC P/N(s) shown on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page and the LRU IDENT DISPLAYED on the media: If the two last digits are different, continue the procedure. If the two last digits are the same, the software component(s) is(are) already uploaded. No uploading is necessary.
5.Do a check of the two digits that follow "C13206" of the FAC P/N(s) shown on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page and the LRU IDENT DISPLAYED on the media: If the two digits are the same, continue the procedure. If one digit is different, the FAC and the media are not compatible. Stop the procedure and contact Airbus.

ACTION	RESULT
1.Push the line select key adjacent to the "AFS" indication.	The "AFS MENU" page comes into view.
2.Push the line select key adjacent to the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" indication.	The "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page comes into view. The P/N(s) given on this page is(are) the operational software component(s) P/N(s).
3.Make sure that the FAC P/N(s) on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page is(are) of the C13206XXXX type.
4.Do a check of the two last digits of the FAC P/N(s) shown on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page and of the software P/N(s): If the two last digits are different, continue the procedure. If the two last digits are the same, the software component(s) is(are) already uploaded. No uploading is necessary.
5.Do a check of the two digits that follow "C13206" of the FAC P/N(s) shown on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page and of the software P/N(s): If the two digits are the same, continue the procedure. If one digit is different, the FAC and the software are not compatible. Stop the procedure and contact Airbus.

4. Procedure
Subtask 22-66-00-970-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Uploading of the FAC Software
(1) Upload the FAC software (Ref. AMM TASK 31-38-00-610-804).

Subtask 22-66-00-280-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Do two checks of the P/N(s) of the operational software component(s) uploaded to the FAC.
(1) Do a check of the P/N(s) of the operational software component(s) uploaded to the FAC on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page.
(a) Get access to the "SYSTEM REPORT/TEST" menu page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-001).

ACTION	RESULT
1.Close circuit breaker 5CC1(2).
2.Make sure that: FAC 1(2) is on. No ECAM message related to FAC 1(2) comes into view. On panel 23VU(24VU), the FAULT legend of FAC 1(2) pushbutton switch 12CC1(2) is off.
3.On the Multipurpose Control & Display Unit (MCDU): Push the line select key adjacent to the "AFS" indication.	On the MCDU: The "AFS MAIN MENU" page comes into view.
4.Push the line select key adjacent to the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" indication.	The "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page comes into view. The P/N(s) shown on this page is(are) the P/N(s) of the operational software component(s).
5.Make sure that the P/N(s) of the FAC shown on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page is(are) the same as the LRU IDENT P/N(s) written on the media.
6.Push the MCDU MENU mode key.	The "MCDU MENU" page comes into view.

(2) Do a check of the P/N(s) of the operational software component(s) uploaded to the FAC with the avionics configuration report:

1.On the MCDU: Push the line select key adjacent to the "CFDS" indication.	On the MCDU: The "CFDS MENU" page comes into view.
Push the down arrow key. Push the line select key adjacent to the "AVIONICS CONFIG REPORT" indication. Enter 22 (the applicable ATA number) in the scratchpad. Push the line select key adjacent to the "START" indication. Push the line select key adjacent to the FAC.
2.Make sure that the P/N(s) of the FAC shown on the "LRU IDENTIFICATION" page is(are) the same as the LRU IDENT P/N(s) written on the media.

Subtask 22-66-00-280-053-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

ACTION	RESULT
1.Close circuit breaker 5CC1(2).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the "RETURN" indication until the "CFDS MENU" page comes into view.
(2) If there is a media in the storage box, remove it. Then put the new media in the storage box.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the "RETURN" indication until the "CFDS MENU" page comes into view.
