Subtask 05-23-30-010-052-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT) in position.
(2) Open the access doors 312AR and 314AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-010-801).

Access provision of the Aft Fuselage Tail Section

(3) Remove the aprons 333AT 333AB 343AT and 343AB (Ref. AMM TASK 55-15-11-000-001).
(4) Remove the horizontal stabilizer leading edges 331AB 331BB 331CB 341AB 341BB and 341CB (Ref. AMM TASK 55-12-11-000-001).
(5) Remove the trailing-edge access panels 334AB 334BB 334CB 334DB, 334EB 334FB 334GB 334HB, 344AB 344BB 344CB 344DB, 344EB 344FB 344GB and 344HB (Ref. AMM TASK 55-13-11-000-001).
(6) Remove the tips 332AB and 342AB (Ref. AMM TASK 55-14-11-000-001).
(7) Remove and discard the aluminum tape from the lightening holes in the rear spar.

4. Procedure
Subtask 05-23-30-210-052-A

A. Inspection
(1) Do a general visual inspection of the spar box of the trimmable horizontal stabilizer.
(2) Make sure that there are no signs of corrosion, cracks or damage.
(3) Make sure that all the installations (wiring, ducting, piping) are attached correctly.

5. Close-up
Subtask 05-23-30-410-052-A

A. Close Access
(1) Cut and install the Adhesive Film Tape-- Aluminium Foil - (Material No.05RAB9) on the lightening holes in the rear spar.
(2) Install the aprons 333AT 333AB 343AT and 343AB (Ref. AMM TASK 55-15-11-400-001).
(3) Install the horizontal stabilizer leading edges 331AB 331BB 331CB 341AB 341BB and 341CB (Ref. AMM TASK 55-12-11-400-001).
(4) Install the trailing-edge access panels 334AB 334BB 334CB 334DB, 334EB 334FB 334GB 334HB, 344AB 344BB 344CB 344DB, 344EB 344FB 344GB and 344HB (Ref. AMM TASK 55-13-11-400-001).
(5) Install the tips 332AB and 342AB (Ref. AMM TASK 55-14-11-400-001).
(6) Close the access doors 312AR and 314AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-23-410-801).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
