A. On the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS), do a check for the maintenance messages "ENGxD-0677-PHMU INTERNAL FAIL" and/or "ENGxD-0678-PHMU CAN BUS FAIL" and/or "ENGxD-0730-PHMU INTERNAL SNSR INTERFACE" and/or "ENGxA-0571-LOSS OF ODM" and/or "ENGxB-0572-LOSS OF ODM".
(1) On the Multipurpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU), in the interactive-mode fault reports of the Electronic Engine Control (EEC), make sure that these maintenance messages are not shown for channel A and/or channel B.
(a) Get access to the three reports that follow:
1 Ground report:
a On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/ENG menu page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-012).
b Initialize Menu Mode of the applicable engine and EEC channel by selecting FADEC XY (X = Engine position, Y = EEC channel).
c From the Menu Mode MAIN MENU, select the key adjacent to GROUND REPORT (5R).
d The GROUND REPORT screen is displayed, providing fault information.
2 Last leg report:
a On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/ENG menu page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-012).
b Initialize Menu Mode of the applicable engine and EEC channel by selecting FADEC XY (X = Engine position, Y = EEC channel).
c From the Menu Mode MAIN MENU, select the key adjacent to LAST LEG REPORT (1L).
d The LAST LEG REPORT screen is displayed, providing fault information.
3 Post Flight Report (PFR):
a On the printed report, read the list of failure messages.
(b) Make sure that the fault messages "ENGxD-0677-PHMU INTERNAL FAIL" and/or "ENGxD-0678-PHMU CAN BUS FAIL" and/or "ENGxD-0730-PHMU INTERNAL SNSR INTERFACE" and/or "ENGxA-0571-LOSS OF ODM" and/or "ENGxB-0572-LOSS OF ODM" are not shown on these reports.
