Subtask 78-32-41-860-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(2) Attach the latch back plate to the blocker door with the screws, the washers and the nuts.
(3) TORQUE the screws to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )

(4) Install the roller:
(b) Install the roller on the latch fitting between the lugs.
(c) Install the roller bolt, the washer and the nut.
(d) TORQUE the nut to between 173 and 130 lbf.in (1.95 and 1.47 m.daN )

(5) Install a new AIPC 78-32-41-01-140 COTTER PIN (10).
(6) Attach the latch fitting to the latch back plate with the bolts, the washers and the nuts.
(7) TORQUE the bolts to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )

(9) Install the upper blocker door:
(10) Make sure that the blocker door is correctly aligned (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-820-001).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

CAUTION:
DO NOT PUSH ON THE STOW SWITCH LEVER WHEN BLOCKER DOOR IS OPENED OR DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.
A. Installation of the Latch Fitting and Latch Back Plate NOTE: Apply a witness line of finish paint EA4 blue 5991 (Material No.CP2245) on all nuts and connections when you have done the check of their torques.
(1) Apply a thin layer of Non Hardening Jointing Putty-Medium Temp. Area - - (Material No.06LCG9) on the back of the latch back plate. (2) Attach the latch back plate to the blocker door with the screws, the washers and the nuts.
(3) TORQUE the screws to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )
. (4) Install the roller:
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE NOT TO APPLY LUBRICANT ON THREADS OF BOLT OR TORQUE WILL BE CHANGED. SEIZING OF ROLLER COULD OCCUR AND DAMAGE OF BLOCKER DOOR LATCH COULD RESULT.
(a) Apply a thin layer of molykote G rapid (Material No.CP2104) on shank of the bolt. (b) Install the roller on the latch fitting between the lugs.
(c) Install the roller bolt, the washer and the nut.
(d) TORQUE the nut to between 173 and 130 lbf.in (1.95 and 1.47 m.daN )
. (5) Install a new AIPC 78-32-41-01-140 COTTER PIN (10).
(6) Attach the latch fitting to the latch back plate with the bolts, the washers and the nuts.
(7) TORQUE the bolts to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )
. NOTE: Make sure that there is no lubricant on the roller and the roller turns freely.
(8) Remove the HIX3005 SAFETY SLEEVE - PIVOTING DOOR ACTUATOR from the blocker door actuator without making thrust reverser operational (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-080-001). (9) Install the upper blocker door:
CAUTION:
BLOCKER DOOR LATCH MUST BE OPENED WHEN YOU CLOSE THE BLOCKER DOOR OR DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Manually move the blocker door to the closed position (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-860-002). (10) Make sure that the blocker door is correctly aligned (Ref. AMM TASK 78-32-41-820-001).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

NOTE: As an alternative procedure you can do this operational test without the CFDS:
- first method with engine not running (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-043)
