1. Reason for the Job
To do an operational test of the continuous ignition logics in case of EIU failure.
NOTE: This procedure applies only for aircraft that have the AIDS.

C. On the left or right MCDU, get the AIDS menu page.

D. Start the engine and let it become stable at minimum idle for 2 minutes. (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003)

A. Do this Test:

RESULT
1.on the MCDU:

  • Push the line key adjacent to PARAM LAB indication
The AIDS PARAM LABEL CALL-UP page comes into view
2.On the MCDU keyboard enter these parameters:

  • For engine 1: 07C/1/273/01/18
  • For engine 2: 07C/2/273/10/18
The parameters come into view under the RETURN indication.
3.Push the key 1L
The parameter shows in front of Key 1L
4.Pull circuit breakers 2KS1 (2KS2) and 4KS1 (4KS2)
NOTE: Ignore the warning relatives to the EIU that can occur during the procedure that follows.
  • The engine speed increases from ground idle to flight idle
  • On the ECAM display, make sure that IGN indication appears
5.Close circuit breakers 2KS1 (2KS2) and 4KS1 (4KS2)
  • The engine speed decreases from flight idle to ground idle
  • On the MCDU , bit 23 of selected parameter is set to "0"
6.Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication
the AIDS menu comes into view
7.Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MCDU menu comes into view.
MCDU MENU comes into view.
