Release the FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch (on the pushbutton switch, the ON legend comes on).

4. Procedure

A. If you have to change the inhibition status of the thrust reverser system from NOT INHIBITED to INHIBITED, do as follows:

Thrust Reverser Inhibited Indication ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser system is deactivated for flight (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-040).
(2) Change the FADEC 1(2) channel A and the channel B inhibition status.

NOTE: This test is for the engine 1. For the other engine, use the indication between parentheses.

(a) On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-012).

ACTION	RESULT
1.Push the line key adjacent to the ENG indication.	The ENG menu comes into view.
2.Push the line key adjacent to the FADEC 1A(2A) indication.	The FADEC 1A(2A) menu comes into view.
3.Push the line key adjacent to the SPECIFIC DATA indication.	The SPECIFIC DATA menu comes into view.
4.Push the line key adjacent to the REV INHIBITION STATUS indication.	The REV INHIBITION STATUS menu comes into view.
	The NOT INHIBITED indication comes into view.
5.Push the line key adjacent to the CHANGE REVERSER STATUS indication.	The INHIBITED indication comes into view.
6.Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication.	The FADEC 1A(2A) menu comes into view.
7.Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication.	The ENG menu comes into view.
8.Push the line key adjacent to the FADEC 1B(2B) indication.	The FADEC 1B(2B) menu comes into view.
9.Push the line key adjacent to the SPECIFIC DATA indication.	The SPECIFIC DATA menu comes into view.
10.Push the line key adjacent to the REV INHIBITION STATUS indication.	The REV INHIBITION STATUS menu comes into view.
11.Check and ensure that the other channel 1B (2B) has automatically synchronized.
12.Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS comes into view.	The CFDS menu comes into view.
13.Push the MCDU MENU key.	The MCDU menu comes into view.

(3) Check that the ENG1(2) REV INHIBITED warning is displayed on the upper display unit of the ECAM system.

B. If you have to change the inhibition status of the thrust reverser system from INHIBITED to NOT INHIBITED, do as follows:

Thrust Reverser Not Inhibited Indication ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Make sure that the thrust reverser system is activated for flight (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-040).
(2) Change the FADEC 1(2) channel A and the channel B inhibition status.

NOTE: This test is for the engine 1. For the other engine, use the indication between parentheses.

(a) On the left or right MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-012).

ACTION	RESULT
1.Push the line key adjacent to the ENG indication.	The ENG menu comes into view.
2.Push the line key adjacent to the FADEC 1A(2A) indication.	The FADEC 1A(2A) menu comes into view.
3.Push the line key adjacent to the SPECIFIC DATA indication.	The SPECIFIC DATA menu comes into view.
4.Push the line key adjacent to the REV INHIBITION STATUS indication.	The REV INHIBITION STATUS menu comes into view.

(3) Check that the ENG1(2) REV INHIBITED warning goes out of view of the upper display unit of the ECAM system.

A. Close Access
(1) On the maintenance panel 50VU:

Push the FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch.
The ON legend goes off.

(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
