Subtask 72-24-11-941-054-A
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
     (b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
     (c) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate:
  • The ENG/MODE selector switch
  • The ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch.
   (2) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

   (1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):

C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser (T/R) System for Maintenance
WARNING: YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
   (1) Do the deactivation of the T/R system for maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-809).

   (1) Open the T/R cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-806):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENGINE 1)

     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENGINE 2)

   (2) Remove the outer OGV platform (Ref. AMM TASK 72-24-11-000-801).

WARNING: REFER TO THE PRODUCT LABEL AND THE MANUFACTURER'S (MATERIAL) SAFETY DATA SHEET (SDS) FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON THE HAZARDS, STORAGE, SAFE HANDLING AND CORRECT USE OF CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS.

A. Remove and discard the bumper (1) that you need to replace.

B. Do a visual inspection of the hole and the adjacent area where you will install a new bumper (1). Deviation to a correct condition is not permitted.
   (1) If you find sign of glue in the hole, the part is not repairable with this procedure.
Subtask 72-24-11-110-051-A
C. Clean the hole where you will bond a new bumper (1), the adjacent area and the new bumper (1) with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) soaked in the isopropyl alcohol (Material No.CP1041) .

D. Bond the new bumper (1) (Ref. to Table 801) as follows:
   (1) Apply thin coats of RTV 732 (Material No.CP2242) on the bumper body.
   (2) Push and turn the bumper (1) in the platform until the stop.
   (3) If necessary, equalize and clean with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) soaked in the isopropyl alcohol (Material No.CP1041) the overflow of adhesive.
   (4) Keep the bumper (1) in contact and let polymerize during 24 hours.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

   (2) Close the T/R cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-410-806):
