A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that you did the procedure to prevent engine motoring and to stop the electrical supply to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC)
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-832).

B. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position.
   (3) Make sure that the aft bulkhead T2 panel is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-11-000-801).
4. Procedure
Subtask 71-61-51-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Inlet Cowl T2-Probe Harness
   (1) Removal of the protection covers
CAUTION: REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
     (a) Make sure that you remove all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine.
   (2) Install the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3).
     (a) Put the clamp (6) on the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3).
     (b) Attach the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) and the clamp (6) to the T2 harness bracket. Use the bolt (4) and washer (5).
NOTE: Do not torque the bolt (4) at this time.
     (c) Attach the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) (D1001P) to the T2 disconnect panel. Use the four bolts (1) and the four washers (2).
     (d) TORQUE the bolts (1) to between 8 and 7 lbf.in (0.09 and 0.08 m.daN ) T.
     (e) Connect the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) (D1000P) to the T2-probe (
Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-12-400-801).
       1 Turn the connector finger-tight. Then turn the connector 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn more with PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
     (f) Connect the T2 jumper harness to the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-11-400-801).
     (g) Adjust the inlet cowl T2-probe harness (3) to keep the preload to a minimum.
     (h) TORQUE the bolts (4) to between 35 and 31.5 lbf.in (0.40 and 0.36 m.daN ) T.
5. Close-up

B. Close Access
   (1) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (4) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence

C. Test
   (1) Do an EEC operation test (Self Test) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-00-710-806).
