Subtask 71-51-44-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
Subtask 71-51-44-010-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

Subtask 71-51-44-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Thrust Reverser Harness 238W0908
(2) Put the electrical harness (5) in position on the engine.
(3) On the left side of the engine, connect electrical connector 4100KS-A to the thrust reverser junction box. Tighten the connector with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(4) Attach the harness (5) to the brackets on the engine flange 191 with the clamps (25), the screws (10), the washers (15) and the nuts (20).
(5) On the right side of the engine, connect electrical connectors 4101KS-A, 4101KS-B and 4102-A to the hydraulic control unit. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(6) Attach the harness (5) to the brackets on the engine flange 191 with the clamps (25), the screws (10), the washers (15) and the nuts (20).
(7) TORQUE the nut (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(8) Install the clamps (30) on the harness (5). Make sure that clamps (45) are installed on the vibration sensor harness.
(9) Attach the clamps (30) and (45) to the brackets with the screws (40) and the washers (15) and (35).
(10) TORQUE the screws (10) and (40) to between 22 and 20 lbf.in (0.25 and 0.23 m.daN )
.
(11) Remove the screws and cover from the transition box.
(12) Apply a layer of adhesive (Material No.CP2344) around the mounting holes on the support brackets and on the screw (40) threads.
(13) Aplly release agent (Material No.CP2673) to the bottom of the transition box.
(14) Attach the transition box to the support brackets with the screws (40) and the washers (15) before the adhesive dries.
(15) TORQUE the screws (40) to between 22 and 20 lbf.in (0.25 and 0.23 m.daN )
.
(16) Attach the cover to the transition box with the screws.
(17) Connect electrical connectors 4003VC-A and 4004VC-A to the connectors on the transition box. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(18) Position the harness (5) in the line blocks (50).
(19) Close the line blocks (50) and tighten the captive screws.
(20) Put the harness (5) into the line block (60). Attach the line block to the bracket with the screws (55) and the washers (15).
(21) Put the harness (5) into the line block (75). Attach the line block to the bracket with the screws (55), (70) and the washers (15).
(22) TORQUE the screws (55), (65) and (70) to between 22 and 20 lbf.in (0.25 and 0.23 m.daN )

(23) Connect electrical connectors 4000KS-J5 and 4000KS-J6 to the ECU. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.

(24) Attach the harness (5) to the bracket with the clamp (30), the screw (40), the washer (15) and the nut (20).
(25) TORQUE the nut (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(26) Use lacing and tying tape (Material No.CP8003) to hold cables from 4000KS-J6, 4003VC-A and 4004VC-A connector together near end of support tube.
(27) Examine the harness installation and make sure that all clamps are installed correctly.
Subtask 71-51-44-865-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL NOTE: Refer to the recommended procedure for the installation of the wire harness (Ref. AMM TASK 70-60-00-910-042).
NOTE: To tighten the lines blocks, turn the captive screws 1/4 turn clockwise to engage the cam nuts.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors on the harness (5), the hydraulic control unit, the transition box, the thrust reverser junction box, and the ECU. (2) Put the electrical harness (5) in position on the engine.
(3) On the left side of the engine, connect electrical connector 4100KS-A to the thrust reverser junction box. Tighten the connector with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(4) Attach the harness (5) to the brackets on the engine flange 191 with the clamps (25), the screws (10), the washers (15) and the nuts (20).
(5) On the right side of the engine, connect electrical connectors 4101KS-A, 4101KS-B and 4102-A to the hydraulic control unit. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(6) Attach the harness (5) to the brackets on the engine flange 191 with the clamps (25), the screws (10), the washers (15) and the nuts (20).
(7) TORQUE the nut (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (8) Install the clamps (30) on the harness (5). Make sure that clamps (45) are installed on the vibration sensor harness.
(9) Attach the clamps (30) and (45) to the brackets with the screws (40) and the washers (15) and (35).
(10) TORQUE the screws (10) and (40) to between 22 and 20 lbf.in (0.25 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (11) Remove the screws and cover from the transition box.
(12) Apply a layer of adhesive (Material No.CP2344) around the mounting holes on the support brackets and on the screw (40) threads.
(13) Aplly release agent (Material No.CP2673) to the bottom of the transition box.
(14) Attach the transition box to the support brackets with the screws (40) and the washers (15) before the adhesive dries.
(15) TORQUE the screws (40) to between 22 and 20 lbf.in (0.25 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (16) Attach the cover to the transition box with the screws.
(17) Connect electrical connectors 4003VC-A and 4004VC-A to the connectors on the transition box. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.
(18) Position the harness (5) in the line blocks (50).
(19) Close the line blocks (50) and tighten the captive screws.
(20) Put the harness (5) into the line block (60). Attach the line block to the bracket with the screws (55) and the washers (15).
(21) Put the harness (5) into the line block (75). Attach the line block to the bracket with the screws (55), (70) and the washers (15).
(22) TORQUE the screws (55), (65) and (70) to between 22 and 20 lbf.in (0.25 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (23) Connect electrical connectors 4000KS-J5 and 4000KS-J6 to the ECU. Tighten the connectors with your hand plus one-eighth turn.

(24) Attach the harness (5) to the bracket with the clamp (30), the screw (40), the washer (15) and the nut (20).
(25) TORQUE the nut (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(26) Use lacing and tying tape (Material No.CP8003) to hold cables from 4000KS-J6, 4003VC-A and 4004VC-A connector together near end of support tube.
(27) Examine the harness installation and make sure that all clamps are installed correctly.
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
