A. Safety Precautions
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
     (a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) Make sure that engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
   (3) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
     (a) Make sure that the ON legend of ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
     (b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC.

B. Make the thrust reverser unserviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-481-041).

C. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position:
     (a) For the left pylon, in zone 410
     (b) For the right pylon, in zone 420.
4. Procedure

A. Reactivation of the Aerodynamic Seal
F Aerodynamic Seal Deactivation/Reactivation ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Remove the high-speed tape from the pylon structure and the wing structure.
   (2) Remove the access panels (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002):
     (a) For the left pylon: 414FR
     (b) For the right pylon: 423FL.
   (3) Install the replacement AIPC 54-53-11-01-260 SEAL (3) on its support (2).
   (4) Install the access panels (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002):
     (a) For the left pylon: 414FR
     (b) For the right pylon: 423FL.

A. Reactivation of the Aerodynamic Seal
F Aerodynamic Seal Deactivation/Reactivation ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Remove the high-speed tape from the pylon structure and the wing structure.
   (2) Remove the access panels (1) and (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-000-002):
     (a) For the left pylon: 471AL, 471AR
     (b) For the right pylon: 481AL, 481AR.
   (3) Install the replacement AIPC 54-53-11-01-260 SEAL (4) on its support (3).
   (4) Install the replacement AIPC 54-53-11-01-340 SEAL (5) on its support (6).
   (5) Install the access panels (1) and (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 54-53-11-400-002):
     (a) For the left pylon: 471AL, 471AR
     (b) For the right pylon: 481AL, 481AR.

A. Make the thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-081-041).

A. Make the thrust reverser serviceable (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-440-012).

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
