Subtask 49-11-00-860-067-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
Subtask 49-11-00-865-077-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.

B. Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the APU exhaust access-fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-18-000-001).
(4) Set LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the APU exhaust access-fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-18-000-001).
(4) Set LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the ON position.
Subtask 49-11-00-020-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the APU Substitution Kit
(1) Remove the oil-cooler outlet-duct plug (31) on the door 315AL.
(2) Remove the bleed-air duct plug (35) from the bleed air duct (24).
(3) Install the COVER - PROTECTION to the bleed air duct (24).
(4) Remove the blanking plug (27) from the exhaust muffler drain (30).
(5) Remove the exhaust muffler plug (32) from the APU exhaust outlet (33).
(6) Remove the blanking plugs (38) on the APU access door 316AR drain interfaces.
(7) Support the rear suspension assembly (18) and remove the nut (17), the washers (16) and the bolt (14).
(8) Continue to support the rear suspension assembly (18) and remove the nut (13). Install the THREAD PROTECTION and remove the assembly (18).
(9) Remove the generator cables (7) from the cross member assembly (3) and attach them temporarily to the bulkhead.
(10) Remove the starter cables (20) from the cross member assembly (3) and attach them temporarily to the bulkhead.
(11) Support the cross member assembly (3) and remove the nuts (1) the washers (2) and fit the thread protectors.
(12) Remove the blanking plug (28) from the APU fuel feed pipe (29).
(13) Connect the vent and drain valve tee (39) to the APU fuel feed pipe (29).
(14) TORQUE the nut of the fuel feed pipe (29) to between 5.31 and 4.85 m.daN (39.16 and 35.77 lbf.ft )

(15) Remove the blanking caps (19) from the connector sockets 7120VC, 7138VC and 7118VC.
(16) Remove the cross member assembly (3).
Subtask 49-11-00-420-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL 5. Close-up(1) Remove the oil-cooler outlet-duct plug (31) on the door 315AL.
(2) Remove the bleed-air duct plug (35) from the bleed air duct (24).
(3) Install the COVER - PROTECTION to the bleed air duct (24).
(4) Remove the blanking plug (27) from the exhaust muffler drain (30).
(5) Remove the exhaust muffler plug (32) from the APU exhaust outlet (33).
(6) Remove the blanking plugs (38) on the APU access door 316AR drain interfaces.
(7) Support the rear suspension assembly (18) and remove the nut (17), the washers (16) and the bolt (14).
(8) Continue to support the rear suspension assembly (18) and remove the nut (13). Install the THREAD PROTECTION and remove the assembly (18).
(9) Remove the generator cables (7) from the cross member assembly (3) and attach them temporarily to the bulkhead.
(10) Remove the starter cables (20) from the cross member assembly (3) and attach them temporarily to the bulkhead.
(11) Support the cross member assembly (3) and remove the nuts (1) the washers (2) and fit the thread protectors.
(12) Remove the blanking plug (28) from the APU fuel feed pipe (29).
(13) Connect the vent and drain valve tee (39) to the APU fuel feed pipe (29).
(14) TORQUE the nut of the fuel feed pipe (29) to between 5.31 and 4.85 m.daN (39.16 and 35.77 lbf.ft )
. (15) Remove the blanking caps (19) from the connector sockets 7120VC, 7138VC and 7118VC.
(16) Remove the cross member assembly (3).
Subtask 49-11-00-410-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Install the APU exhaust access-fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-18-400-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 49-11-00-865-078-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Install the APU exhaust access-fairing (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-18-400-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Put the related hydraulic system in the pressurized configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
