A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Connect the service interphone to the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 23-44-00-860-001).
Subtask 49-00-00-865-216-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Connect the service interphone to the aircraft (Ref. AMM TASK 23-44-00-860-001).

C. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2) Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3) Set the light switch 11LJ to the ON position.
Subtask 49-00-00-100-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. General Cleaning of the APU
(2) If the APU air intake and/or the air intake diffuser and elbow and/or doors are dirty, clean them (Ref. AMM TASK 49-16-00-100-005).
(3) If the APU inlet plenum is dirty, clean it (Ref. AMM TASK 49-16-00-210-802).
(4) If there are signs of oil ingestion by the APU and/or an internal leakage, clean the APU load compressor (Ref. AMM TASK 49-20-00-100-004).
(5) If the external surface of the APU is dirty, clean it (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-100-807).
5. Close-upNOTE: Dirty is debris, dust, sand, oil, combustible residues, grease, fungus growth and/or other contaminations.
(1) If the APU compartment is dirty, clean it (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-100-003). (2) If the APU air intake and/or the air intake diffuser and elbow and/or doors are dirty, clean them (Ref. AMM TASK 49-16-00-100-005).
(3) If the APU inlet plenum is dirty, clean it (Ref. AMM TASK 49-16-00-210-802).
(4) If there are signs of oil ingestion by the APU and/or an internal leakage, clean the APU load compressor (Ref. AMM TASK 49-20-00-100-004).
(5) If the external surface of the APU is dirty, clean it (Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-100-807).
Subtask 49-00-00-410-106-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the light switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 49-00-00-865-217-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Set the light switch 11LJ to the OFF position.
(3) Close the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
