A. Removal of the Bleed Pressure-Regulator Valve
   (1) If you use the APU to energize the electrical circuits, stop the APU:
   (2) In the cockpit, on the SD bleed page:
     (a) Make sure that the pressure and the temperature of the bleed-air duct system are in ambient conditions.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM IS DEPRESSURIZED BEFORE YOU START WORK. PRESSURIZED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE UNIT UNTIL IT IS SUFFICIENTLY COOL TO PREVENT BURNS WHEN YOU DO THE MAINTENANCE TASK(S).
   (3) On the right side:
     (a) Disconnect the electrical connector from the bleed pressure-regulator valve (20).
     (b) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
     (c) Disconnect the sense lines that follow from the valve (20) with a WRENCH - CROWFOOT:
1 The sense line (35) between the bleed pressure-regulator valve and the HP bleed valve.
2 The sense line (40) between the bleed pressure-regulator valve and related control solenoid.
     (d) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
   (4) On the left side:
     (a) Loosen the coupling (45) but do not remove it.
     (b) Remove the couplings (30), the seals (25) and the valve (20).
