Subtask 34-52-00-860-080-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the ADIRS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-002).
   (3) On the center pedestal, on the ATC/TCAS control unit, set:
  • the ATC system 1(2) on.
  • the ALT RPTG ON/OFF switch to ON.
  • the AUTO/ON/STBY switch to AUTO.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the ADIRS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-002).
   (3) On the center pedestal, on the ATC/TCAS control unit, set:
  • the ATC system 1(2) on.
  • the ALT RPT ON/OFF switch to ON.
  • the SBY/ON/TA/RA-TA switch to SBY.

   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

  • the ATC system 1(2) on.
  • the STBY/ALT RPTG OFF/XPNDR/TA ONLY/TA-RA switch to XPNDR.

  • Set the AUTO ON/STBY switch to ON.
On the ATC/TCAS control unit:
  • The ATC FAULT or FAIL indicator light stays off.
  • Set the AUTO ON/STBY switch to STBY.
On the ATC/TCAS control unit:
  • The background lighting stays on.

  • Set the STBY/ALT RPTG OFF/XPNDR/TA ONLY/TA-RA switch to STBY.
On the ATC/TCAS control unit:
  • The background lighting stays on.
5. Close-up
Subtask 34-52-00-860-062-A
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the ADIRS Stop Procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-005).
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
