3. Job Set-up

A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
   (2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is on the panel 25VU to tell persons not to operate the strobe lights or the navigation lights.
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT) is in position below the applicable zone 534 or 634.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (2) Make sure that the glazing panel (1) has been removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-37-13-000-801).
4. Procedure
Subtask 33-41-11-420-057-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Preparation for Installation
   (1) Remove unwanted sealant from the navigation light (5), the washer (7) and the bolt (6) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (3) Clean the glazing panel (1) with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with WATER - SOAPY SOLUTION.
   (4) Do the preparation for electrical bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
   (5) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (6) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (7) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.

B. Installation of the Navigation Light
   (1) Put the navigation light (5) in position and install the washers (3) and the bolts (4).
   (2) Install the washer (7) and the bolt (6) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
   (3) Apply a layer of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) to the washer (7) and the bolt (6).
   (4) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
   (5) Connect the electrical connector (2) to the navigation light (5).
   (6) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (7) Install the glazing panel (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-37-13-400-801).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the safety barriers.
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
