A. Safety Precautions
(1) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.
(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On panel 400VU:

(2) Make sure that the ground safety locks are on the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
(3) On panel 400VU:
- make sure that the landing-gear control-lever 6GA is in the DOWN position
- put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear.
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Open the MLG doors for access (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(3) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(4) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

(2) Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(3) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(4) Make sure that the Green hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
D. Get Access
(1) Remove the applicable MLG leg (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-11-000-001).
(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) at zone 731 and/or 741.

E. Clean the inspection area
(1) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean these LH and/or RH airframe attachment points for inspection:

- MLG forward-pintle airframe attachment-fitting
- MLG aft-pintle airframe attachment-fitting
- MLG side-stay airframe attachment-fitting
- MLG retraction-actuator airframe attachment-fitting.

B. Lower the Aircraft
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Lower the aircraft off jacks (Ref. AMM TASK 07-11-00-586-002).

C. Close Access
