A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
   (1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
   (3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
   (4) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
  • In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
  • On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
   (5) Make sure that one main door of the main gear is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (6) Make sure that the access panel 196BB is open.
   (7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
   (8) Make sure that the CONTAINER - HYDRAULIC FLUID RESISTANT is in position below the location of the system pressure switch.

4. Procedure
Subtask 29-32-12-420-054-B
A. Installation of the Pressure Switch
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the blanking plugs from the ports of the manifold.
   (4) Lubricate the new AIPC 29-32-03-03-070 O-RING (3) or AIPC 29-32-83-03-100 O-RING (3) with Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) .
   (5) Put the new O-ring (3) in position on the system pressure switch (2).
   (6) Install the system pressure switch (2) in the manifold (4) and TORQUE to between 3.470 and 3.186 m.daN (25.59 and 23.50 lbf.ft ) T.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
   (7) Safety the system pressure switch (2) with 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy -.
   (8) Install the clamp (9), the bonding jumper (7), the screw (8), the washer (6) and the nut (5) at the system pressure switch (2) (
Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
   (9) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (1).
   (10) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
   (11) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the system pressure switch (2).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Leak Test of the Hydraulic Connections
   (1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
   (2) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
   (3) Examine the connection of the system pressure switch and make sure that there are no leaks.
   (4) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).

D. Do the operational test of the hydraulic pressure indicating system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-32-00-710-003).
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
   (1) Remove the container.
   (2) Connect the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
   (3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the main door of the main gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
   (3) Close the access panel 196BB.
