Installation of the Pressure Switch
WARNING:

- THE LANDING GEAR AND THE RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Make sure that the left main gear door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(5) Make sure that the access door 195BB is open.
(6) Make sure that the access panel 147BB is open.
(7) Make sure that the access panel 147CB is open.
(8) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
(10) Make sure that the RAT is extended (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-869-005).
(11) Make sure that the protective cover of the RAT compartment is removed.
Subtask 29-22-53-865-086-A WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3) Make sure that the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4) Make sure that the left main gear door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(5) Make sure that the access door 195BB is open.
(6) Make sure that the access panel 147BB is open.
(7) Make sure that the access panel 147CB is open.
(8) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
- in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
- on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(10) Make sure that the RAT is extended (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-869-005).
(11) Make sure that the protective cover of the RAT compartment is removed.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the Pressure Switch
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the new AIPC 29-22-53-01-110 PACKING (7).
(4) Remove the blanking cap from the port of the RAT actuator (6).
(5) Install the pressure switch (8) with the new packing (7).
(6) TORQUE the pressure switch (8) to between 0.735 and 0.622 m.daN (65.04 and 55.04 lbf.in )

(7) Safety the pressure switch (8) with lockwire, corrosion resistant steel dia. 0.8 mm (0.032 in.).
(8) Remove the protective caps from the electrical connectors.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connector (9).
Subtask 29-22-53-865-087-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3) Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4) Examine the connection of the pressure switch (8) and the RAT actuator (6) and make sure that there is no leak.
(6) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
Subtask 29-22-53-710-064-A (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3) Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4) Examine the connection of the pressure switch (8) and the RAT actuator (6) and make sure that there is no leak.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE RAT TRAVEL RANGE IS CLEAR BEFORE YOU EXTEND/RETRACT THE RAT.
(5) Retract the RAT (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-869-006). (6) Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
D. Do the operational test of the manual deployment and the retraction of the RAT (Ref. AMM TASK 29-22-00-710-007).
5. Close-upSubtask 29-22-53-410-063-A
A. Close Access
(1) Put the protective cover (1) in the correct installation position over the deployment solenoids.
(a) Tighten the screws (2) in the quick release fasteners (3).
(b) Install the screw (5) in the protective cover (1).
(2) Install the access panels 147BB 147CB.
(3) Close the main gear door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4) Close the access door 195BB.
(5) Remove the safety barriers.
(6) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Put the protective cover (1) in the correct installation position over the deployment solenoids.
(a) Tighten the screws (2) in the quick release fasteners (3).
(b) Install the screw (5) in the protective cover (1).
(2) Install the access panels 147BB 147CB.
(3) Close the main gear door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4) Close the access door 195BB.
(5) Remove the safety barriers.
(6) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
RAT Pressure Switch
