A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
Subtask 29-13-43-941-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
(2) Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
B. Safety Precautions
(1) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system on the ground service panel.
(3) On the HYD section of panel 40VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
Subtask 29-13-43-010-063-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
- Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate this pushbutton switch.
(a) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system on the ground service panel.
(3) On the HYD section of panel 40VU:
- Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system.
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(5) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).
C. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
4. Procedure(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
(a) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.

A. Servicing the Hydraulic Filter Assembly
(2) Put the lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) below the hydraulic filter assembly to collect hydraulic fluid that possibly can spill.
(3) Cut the lockwire between the hydraulic filter bowl (2) and the hydraulic filter assembly.
(4) Use a wrench on the filter bowl (2) nut on the bottom of the bowl and turn the filter bowl (2) counterclockwise until you remove filter bowl (2).
(5) Drain the hydraulic fluid from the filter bowl (2) into the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) as necessary.
(6) Remove and discard the used filter cartridge (1).
(7) Clean the hydraulic filter bowl (2) internally and externally with the clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) .
(9) Put the hydraulic filter bowl (2) in the hydraulic filter assembly. Turn the hydraulic filter bowl (2) clockwise until it is against the hydraulic filter assembly then tighten the hydraulic filter bowl (2) with your hand.
(10) Safety the hydraulic filter bowl (2) to the hydraulic filter assembly with the lockwire (Material No.PU1-0011) .
(11) Do the operational test of the hydraulic system to make sure there are no leaks from the hydraulic filter assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-805).
Subtask 29-13-43-710-060-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT. IF HYDRAULIC FLUID FALLS ON A SURFACE, IMMEDIATELY CLEAN THE SURFACE WITH A CLEAN CLOTH.
CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(1) Installation of the protection covers CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(a) Make sure that you install the COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine. (2) Put the lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) below the hydraulic filter assembly to collect hydraulic fluid that possibly can spill.
(3) Cut the lockwire between the hydraulic filter bowl (2) and the hydraulic filter assembly.
(4) Use a wrench on the filter bowl (2) nut on the bottom of the bowl and turn the filter bowl (2) counterclockwise until you remove filter bowl (2).
(5) Drain the hydraulic fluid from the filter bowl (2) into the CONTAINER 5 L (1.32 USGAL) as necessary.
(6) Remove and discard the used filter cartridge (1).
(7) Clean the hydraulic filter bowl (2) internally and externally with the clean lint-free cotton cloth (Material No.PU1-0001) .
NOTE: Be careful when you clean the hydraulic fluid from the internal part of the hydraulic filter bowl (2).
(8) Put the new AIPC 29-13-43-50-030 FILTER CARTRIDGE (1) in the hydraulic filter bowl (2). (9) Put the hydraulic filter bowl (2) in the hydraulic filter assembly. Turn the hydraulic filter bowl (2) clockwise until it is against the hydraulic filter assembly then tighten the hydraulic filter bowl (2) with your hand.
(10) Safety the hydraulic filter bowl (2) to the hydraulic filter assembly with the lockwire (Material No.PU1-0011) .
(11) Do the operational test of the hydraulic system to make sure there are no leaks from the hydraulic filter assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-805).
B. Operational Test
(1) Do an operational test of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-13-00-710-002).
(2) After the dry motoring, make sure that there were no leak from the hydraulic filter assembly.
