Installation of the Priority Valve of the Yellow Hydraulic System
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the access door 198CB and the access panel 196BB are open.
(6) Make sure that the CONTAINER 2 L (0.53 USGAL) is in position below the PTU manifold.
(7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
Subtask 29-13-33-865-051-A WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
(1) Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
- in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
- on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4) Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5) Make sure that the access door 198CB and the access panel 196BB are open.
(6) Make sure that the CONTAINER 2 L (0.53 USGAL) is in position below the PTU manifold.
(7) Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Remove the blanking plugs from the PTU manifold and the priority valve (1).
(2) Apply Phosphate Ester Hydraulic Fluid-General Power - - (Material No.02ABA1) to the O-rings (4), the back-up rings (7), (8) and the square-section seals (6).
(3) Position the new AIPC 29-13-15-02-130 BACK-UP RINGS (7) on the sides of the bobbins (5) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(4) Position the new AIPC 29-13-15-02-140 SQUARE-SECTION SEALS (6) on the sides of the bobbins (5) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(5) Position the new AIPC 29-13-15-02-120 BACK-UP RINGS (8) on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(6) Position the new AIPC 29-13-15-02-110 O-RINGS (4) on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(7) Install the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
Subtask 29-13-33-420-050-A (1) Remove the blanking plugs from the PTU manifold and the priority valve (1).

(5) Position the new AIPC 29-13-15-02-120 BACK-UP RINGS (8) on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(6) Position the new AIPC 29-13-15-02-110 O-RINGS (4) on the sides of the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(7) Install the bobbins (5) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (Ref. AMM TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
B. Installation of the Priority Valve
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Install the priority valve (1) on the manifold.
(4) Install the bolts (2) and the washers (3).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (2) to between 0.90 and 0.80 m.daN (79.65 and 70.80 lbf.in )

Subtask 29-13-33-790-050-A (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

. C. Leak Test of the Hydraulic Connections
(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(3) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(4) Examine the connection of the priority valve (1) and make sure that there are no leaks.
(5) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
5. Close-up(1) Pressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2) Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(3) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(4) Examine the connection of the priority valve (1) and make sure that there are no leaks.
(5) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002).
Subtask 29-13-33-860-052-A
A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) Connect the isolation coupling of the power transfer unit (PTU) (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-860-002).
(2) Remove the container.
(3) Remove the warning notices from the cockpit and the ground service panel.
