C. Installation of the Check Valves
   (1) Check Valve Inline Assembly:
     (a) Position the check valves between the hydraulic lines and TORQUE the unions.
NOTE: For the torque values refer to ATA 20-21-12 paragraph 4.A.(4) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-12-911-001).
NOTE: For the material of the hydraulic equipment refer to the IPC.
NOTE: For the check valve material refer to the Table I.
   (2) Check Valve Inline/Block Assembly:
     (a) Install the check valve with a new O-ring into the manifold or the reducer and TORQUE it.
NOTE: For the torque values refer to the Table II.
     (b) Install the union to the check valve and TORQUE it.
NOTE: For the torque values refer to ATA 20-21-12 paragraph 4.A.(6)(b) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-21-12-911-001).
NOTE: For the pipe material refer to IPC.
NOTE: For the check valve material refer to the Table II.
NOTE: Hold the check valve with a spanner to make sure that you do not apply the higher torque to the manifold.
   (3) Check Valve Block Assembly:
     (a) Make sure that the back-up rings and the O-ring are in the correct position.
WARNING: USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
     (b) Install the check valve into the manifold and TORQUE it.
NOTE: For the torque values refer to the Table III.
   (4) If possible, safety the check valve with the lockwire, 14QEB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.6 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - or 14QFB1Wire-Locking Dia: 0.8 mm CRES Nickel Alloy - (Ref. AMM TASK 20-11-11-911-001).
