A. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access doors 822, 824 and 811.
(2) Make sure that the access doors 822, 824 and 811 are open:

Make sure that the protective cover is open.

4. Procedure
Subtask 27-94-34-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Spoiler Elevator Computer (SEC)
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (2).
(4) Install the SEC (1) on its rack (3).
(5) Push the SEC (1) on its rack (3) to connect the electrical connectors (2).
(6) Engage the nuts on the lugs:

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE OBRM(S) IS (ARE) CORRECTLY INSTALLED. IF IT (THEY) IS(ARE) NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY, PUSH THE OBRM(S) UNTIL THE LOCKING DEVICES ARE LOCKED.

(a) Engage the nuts (4) on the lugs and tighten.

C. Do the LRU IDENTIFICATION of the SEC

NOTE: This procedure is for the SEC1. For the SEC2, use the indications between the parentheses.

(1) Do the procedure to get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST F/CTL page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-006).

ACTION	RESULT
1.Push the line key adjacent to the EFCS 1(2) indication.	- The EFCS 1(2) menu page comes into view.
2.Push the line key adjacent to the LRU IDENTIFICATION indication.	- The LRU IDENTIFICATION page comes into view. The P/N given on this page is the operational software P/N.

(2) Make sure that the P/N of the SEC shown on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page agrees with the Airline Configuration Management Document.
(a) If the P/N is different from the PN(s) given in the Airline Configuration Management Document, replace the SEC (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-400-001).

NOTE: For SEC P/N B372CAMxxxx, Airbus recommends to put (or update) an informative label on the front face of the computer with the P/N of the loaded software. This label is for information only. The procedure to identify the operational software P/N stays the LRU IDENTIFICATION on the MCDU.

C. Do the LRU IDENTIFICATION of the SEC

NOTE: This procedure is for the SEC1. For the SEC2, use the indications between the parentheses.

(1) Do the procedure to get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST F/CTL page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-006).

ACTION	RESULT
1.Push the line key adjacent to the EFCS 1(2) indication.	- The EFCS 1(2) menu page comes into view.
2.Push the line key adjacent to the LRU IDENTIFICATION indication.	- The LRU IDENTIFICATION page comes into view. The P/N given on this page is the operational software P/N.

If the SEC LRU IDENTIFICATION shows the P/N B372BAMxxxx or B372BBMxxxx (non-dataloadable units), replace the SEC (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-400-001).

If the SEC LRU IDENTIFICATION shows the P/N B372CAMxxxx, do the uploading of the SEC software (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-00-610-801).

D. Do the operational test of the SEC (1CE1,1CE2,1CE3).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE SOFTWARE INSTALLED AGREES WITH THE AIRLINE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT DOCUMENT. THE SYSTEM OPERATIONAL TEST OR BITE TEST DOES NOT DETECT INCORRECT SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the protective cover on the battery power center 105VU.
(3) Tighten the two screws.
(4) Close the access door 822, 824 and 811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002)
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
