WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE WATER-ABSORBING FILTER ELEMENT IS NOT OUT OF A SEALED CONTAINER FOR MORE THAN 30 SECONDS.
THE ELEMENT WILL ABSORB WATER FROM THE AIR AND BECOME UNSERVICEABLE.
A. Replacement of the Water-Adsorbing Filter NOTE: The replacement procedure is the same for both water-adsorbing filters. Thus, the procedure to replace only one water-adsorbing filter is given here.
(1) Remove and discard the lockwire from the filter bowl (1). (2) Remove the filter bowl (1) from the filter head (4).
(3) Remove and discard the o-ring (3) and the water-adsorbing filter (2).
